Newly built and fully furnished holiday apartment on the south mountainous island of Lefkada (Ionian Islands-GREECE), very close to the world famous beaches of “Porto Katsiki” (at 3 klm), “Egremni” (at 5 klm) and the famous wind-surfing "Vassiliki bay" (at 8 klm). The residence is built in a pine forest, on the side of a hill, and it offers breathtaking, panoramic view over the Ionian sea. The groundfloor apartment is an ideal place for up to 6 people and especially for those seeking relaxation and isolation among pines and captivating sea views. The nearest town is VASSILIKI (10 minutes drive) and the nearest village is Athanion (at 6 klm). The residence is 45 km away from the capital town of Lefkada (about 50 minutes drive by car). The island of Lefkada has road access, as it is connected to mainland Greece by a floating bridge of 50 meters length. A private car is needed. There is no public transport to the residence. Reaching the beaches is possible by car.
The apartment is on the groundfloor of the building, it consists of 2 bedrooms (one triple + one double), one large living room (with sofa bed) with fully equipped kitchen and one large bathroom with shower. It has its own independent veranda/patio and garden with fantastic sea view and mountain view. It has its own open air parking area for free. It can accommodate up to 6 people.
In the same building there is one more independent apartment, where other guests are staying.
NOTICE: the last 500 m of the road to the house is a dirt road (not asphalted), which is a dead-end way, so nobody except the residents of the house use it.

The nearest cottage house is at 700 m distance.
The guests will be awaited by the owner to get the keys. The guests will check out without the ownwer's presence. The owner doesn't live in the premises, but is available 24h by phone. The apartment will be delivered cleaned and tidy to the guests, and an extra set of clean linen and towels will be available inside the house. The cleaning of the house and garbage removal during the stay is made by the guests.
The guests will have easy access to Porto Katsiki beach by car (max 10 minutes drive) and to Egremni beach and Vassiliki beach (also by car). The nearest taverna "OASIS" is at 1000 m from the house. In the town of VASSILIKI you can find super markets, restaurants, gas stations, medical aid, ATM. There are several nice taverns also in the small picturesque village Athanion . As the nearest villages are Vassiliki (10 min drive) and Athanion (at 6 km) , this place is suitable for guests who search for serenity and "isolation" during their holiday.

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Absolute Ruhe mitten im Pinienwald , nur Zikaden und Ziegenglocken sind zu hören. Vermieterin freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ausstattung ist gut . Nur die genaue Verortung und Verlinkungen der Daten/genauer Standort der FeWo Plattform ist absolut mangelhaft! Google Maps Daten weichen vom tatsächlichen Standort um ca. 10 km ab!! Bitte korrigieren!

Traumquartier mit kleinen Mängeln
Geräumige Wohnung mit fantastischem Blick und sehr schönem Restaurant in Fußreichweite. Wünschenswerte Verbesserungen: 1) Ein richtiges Schattendach über der Terrasse (das Netzdach bietet keinen sonneschutz); 2) Eine etwas großzügigere Küchen- und Regalausstattung; 3) Information, dass die Unterkunft ca. 400m über dem Meeressspiegel liegt bzw. Fußdistanz zu den Stränden.

Schöner Ausblick auf das Meer, ruhige Lage
Die Vermieter der Wohnung waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie sprechen gut Englisch. Die Erdgeschosswohnung war sehr sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet (Spülmittel, Kaffeefilter, Salz, Pfeffer, Olivenöl,...). Die Möblierung und Ausstattung würde ich als einfach bezeichnen. TV, Geschirrspüler, Klimaanlage gibt es nicht - aber das steht auch in der Wohnungsbeschreibung. Allerdings gibt es bei jedem Fenster Insektenschutzgitter und elektrische Außenjalousien. Der Blick von der Veranda ist sehr schön. Ein kleiner Schönheitsfehler sind die Elektrokabel am Hang unter dem Haus. Ansonsten hat man aber keine Nachbarn und wohnt nahe dem Wald. In der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig. Die Veranda wurde mittlerweile mit einer Beschattung versehen und ein provisorischer Zaun umgibt das Grundstück und die Veranda. Für die Möbel auf der Veranda hätten wir uns für jeden Sessel Polster gewünscht.
