Our first issue was that we didn´t KNEW if the villa existed
Yes, we where confused since the property was shown at a wrong spot at the map…
So, we decided to take a look to see if we could find it, a couple of days before we should move in. And we did – but it wasn´t easy. No signs or arrows is showing the way from the village of Vassilikis.
It is a 8-10 minutes’ drive (from Vassilikis), the last 500 meters on a gravel road.
The house is very good (there are six different villas, and we had the first (lowest on the hillside).
Two rooms: a kitchen and a double room + a rather small bathroom. Both rooms with AC.
So the inside it´s not so spacious – but the outside...!
Private pool with plenty of space around it including both a sunbed and “sunchairs”, table and chairs, and one step up, another big area with “sunchairs” and table and chairs – a perfect breakfast place..:-)
The kitchen is not so well equipped – or as we said – there is a lack of a woman’s hand there…
No Micro, just one big kitchen-knife, and the frying pan should have retired years ago.
But we managed to cook both decent breakfasts and dinners.
One bigger cleaning per week (bed linen and towels and pool cleaning) and a daily pic-up of the trash-bags from the kitchen and toilet.
The view is just astonishing!
The bay below is full of boats, sailors and windsurfers the whole day, and a perfect view of the village as well.
We appreciated the possibility to be private – no need for swimsuits…😉
One needs a car or a motorbike to get there – but if you have: go there..!
Now, after one week, we have a "problem": how can we ever find that kind of place with an unreal wonderful feeling of life! No noise, only some birds did make nice sounds around us! Thank you for a outstanding week!
PS.
Don´t forget mosquito repellent!
