Absolutely gorgeous villa completely exceeded our expectations

Probably the nicest villa we have ever stayed in! Inside is beautifully done and spacious and we really enjoyed the pool and terrace. The villa has exceeded every expectation, The villa is very secluded, bathing suit are not necessary since we have had complete privacy! Highly recommend!

Wow what an amazing place and wonderful villa, The villa is stunning - clean, well thought out and in such a pretty location. Very peaceful and private, not necessary to wear a swimming suit. It exceeded all of our expectations - we will definitely be back next year.

Outstanding week in Villas Ponti,Vassiliki

Our first issue was that we didn´t KNEW if the villa existed Yes, we where confused since the property was shown at a wrong spot at the map… So, we decided to take a look to see if we could find it, a couple of days before we should move in. And we did – but it wasn´t easy. No signs or arrows is showing the way from the village of Vassilikis. It is a 8-10 minutes’ drive (from Vassilikis), the last 500 meters on a gravel road. The house is very good (there are six different villas, and we had the first (lowest on the hillside). Two rooms: a kitchen and a double room + a rather small bathroom. Both rooms with AC. So the inside it´s not so spacious – but the outside...! Private pool with plenty of space around it including both a sunbed and “sunchairs”, table and chairs, and one step up, another big area with “sunchairs” and table and chairs – a perfect breakfast place..:-) The kitchen is not so well equipped – or as we said – there is a lack of a woman’s hand there… No Micro, just one big kitchen-knife, and the frying pan should have retired years ago. But we managed to cook both decent breakfasts and dinners. One bigger cleaning per week (bed linen and towels and pool cleaning) and a daily pic-up of the trash-bags from the kitchen and toilet. The view is just astonishing! The bay below is full of boats, sailors and windsurfers the whole day, and a perfect view of the village as well. We appreciated the possibility to be private – no need for swimsuits…😉 One needs a car or a motorbike to get there – but if you have: go there..! Now, after one week, we have a "problem": how can we ever find that kind of place with an unreal wonderful feeling of life! No noise, only some birds did make nice sounds around us! Thank you for a outstanding week! PS. Don´t forget mosquito repellent! DS.

Great Expectations... not quite met

We arrived late in the evening and so did not appreciate the villas magnificent views and location until the morning; absolutely stunning. The villas, of which there are five or so, are truly in a magnificent setting and are cleverly designed to afford each almost total privacy. A note of caution is that the website photographs are a collection from all the villas so you may not get EXACTLY what you expected but the outside areas were spacious, private and relaxing. The villa itself was more at the functional end of the scale and lacked any real charm which was disappointing, with the quality of finish, fixtures and fittings below what you would expect in this price range. The kitchen itself was described as small but fully equipped and functional but you would be hard pressed to make any meaningful meals. There were several areas which needed completing/repair. The house is broadly as described (although we were told this was an upgrade?!) and doesn’t claim to be more than it is, it just didn’t quite live up to expectations or the image created by the expertly shot photos. It was however very clean and George, the hard working manager, extremely helpful; especially when we locked ourselves out! We wouldn’t want to put people off because it is an amazing setting but it didn't meet our expectations and it is a lesson in really checking the details/reviews . But it’s nothing a few Euro, screwdriver and a bit of TLC couldn’t fix. Outside 5 stars, inside 1.

Perfekter Urlaub-villa Ponti

Wir verbrachten unvergessliche Tage in dem wunderschoenen Ferienobjekt! Die Lage ist wirklich einzigartig - die Foto´s geben das nur unzulaenglich wieder. Die Sicht ist atemberaubend! Das Domizil ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, die Betreuung waehrend des Aufenthaltes ist sehr aufmerksam und nett gewesen,die Villa ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet und auch sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Aussicht atemberaubend! Der Strand unterhalb der Villen ist wunderschoen, das Wasser tuerkis und kristallklar, absolut traumhaft die Lage der Villa und auch die Villa selbst ist Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefuehlt und werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Beautiful views, stunning location

The property is exactly as per the pictures. There are four or five villas on the hillside, all are totally secluded and private each with own pool and spectacular views over the bay of Vasiliki. A car is essential both to get to the villa and also to get around the Island to see the sights! Although we did spend much of the week just sunbathing and using the pool while looking out over the views. George was always happy to help and ensure the Villa got a clean every morning. We will be back!

Best place to be!

Toller Blick!

Riesen Terasse mit schönem Aussenbett und Pool mit wunderbarem Blick auf Kefalonia, Vassiliki und Pondi Beach mit den Windsurfern. Sehr hlfsbereiter und engagierter Villa Manager, George! Gute Restaurants im Ort, unser Favorit war "Wave- To Kyma". Sehr empfehlenswert- wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unforgettable experience

The most privete experience.

Villa Ponti is absolutely stunning is private . It was exactly as described, extremely comfortable, very stylish, clean and beautifully maintained. The villa is very well maintained and equipped to the highest standards. We were looking for a secluded and quiet retreat for a relaxing week in the sun. Spacious, comfortable, beautiful, very well kept bedrooms & bathrooms. Nice pool, there a lovely BBQ,a good kitchen and dining area Excellent for a very quiet relaxing holiday. Many thanks for everything with the promise that we' ll come back SOON !

Beautiful private and quiet villa

The villa Ponti is private and very relaxing.The sun is on top of the house from 07:00am to 20:00pm. The view is fantastic,everything was perfect! This villa Ponti offered us complete privacy, absolutely breathtaking views. The staff of the villa were coming every day and cleaned everything, thanks George Great BBQ area. The villa Ponti is positioned in total privacy only a 600-700m from shops, Perfect place to relax for two weeks We hope we can go back soon,

Leider keine Luxusvilla

In diesem Apartment gibt es 2 Zimmer und ein Bad mit großzügiger Dusche. Im Wohnessbereich gibt es eine kleine Küchenzeile, eine Ausziehcouch, einen Tisch mit Fernseher, eine kleine Anlage und einen Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen. Die Küche ist sehr spärlich eingerichtet. Der Kühlschrank ist mittelgroß und hat ein kleines Gefrierfach. Es gibt eine Minispülmaschine und einen Minibackofen. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein großes Doppelbett (ohne Nachttische), einen Kleiderschrank (dessen Türen nicht schließen) und eine Schminkkommode mit Spiegel. Im Bad fehlen leider jegliche Abstellmöglichkeiten. Es gibt unter dem Spiegel kein Regal für Zahnbürste, Creme usw. Auch gibt es nicht genug Haken für die Handtücher. Die Terrasse vor dem Wohnbereich, hat einen Holz und einen Stein Belag. Es gibt einen kleinen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen. Die hintere, seitliche Terrasse hat einen grauen Beton Belag, der nicht gerade dazu einlädt, sich dort aufzuhalten. Es gibt dort auch Gartenmöbel und ein Sonnenbett. Der Grill der sich dort befindet, ist ein kleines wackeliges Metallgestell, was notdürftig auf 4 Bausteinen steht. Unser Fazit: Die gezeigten Bilder gehören zu 98% nicht zu dieser Wohnung. Es sind unserer Meinung nach, Bilder von der großen Wohnung auf dem oberen Gelände. Die Möbel machen einen abgewohnten Eindruck. Bilder oder nette Accessoires gab es im gesamten Innenbereich nicht. Wir empfanden die Einrichtung als sehr lieblos und altmodisch. Die Wohnung wird täglich gereinigt. Der Pool wird wöchentlich oder nach Bedarf gereinigt. In diesem Bereich war alles in Ordnung. Der Pool vor dem Wohnbereich und der Ausblick sind sehr schön. Am Pool stehen 2 Holzliegen mit Auflagen, diese waren gepflegt und gemütlich. Den Pool und die Aussicht haben wir sehr genossen. Jede Wohnung hat einen wundervollen Blick aufs Meer und auf den netten kleinen Ort und den Hafen von Vasiliki. Ein Auto ist unserer Meinung nach, auf jeden Fall nötig. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Ort Pondi und liegt oben auf dem Berg. Die Entfernung nach Vasiliki beträgt vom Haus aus ca. 2 Kilometer. Es gibt auch im Umkreis sehr viele schöne Strände (die meisten allerdings Kies und Steinstrände) zu entdecken.

MAGIC PLACE!

The villa is of a very high standard and the furniture, both inside and outside, is of the finest quality. The villa is built on the slope of the mountain, it is private 100% and boasts fantastic views well beyond your wildest imagination that words cannot describe! The location is perfect for relaxation, the surroundings are delightful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The villa is cleaned every day so that everything is kept tidy. Being situated only 5 minutes from the centre, you will find everything is at your reach e.g. bakery, super markets and butchers etc.

UNIQUE VIEW - PLACE TO VISIT

I would like to say a big thank you to the staff of the complex and especially the manager George who made our holidays unique. The villa was beautiful, the villa exceeded our expectations since the photos are identical to reality. For example the protective glaze has been moved few meters away, however there no need to consider such small things if somebody is on holidays located in a villa with the breath taking view of water, cool breezes, sun and everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The villa has great privacy which was what we were looking for, the villas are at least 100m away from each other located in a way that they have privacy, the view is incredible. There was everything needed in the villa, its decorated with quality modern furniture. Just to point out that the service of the villa is daily and the cleaning level is good, the rooms beds and bathroom were perfectly cleaned. The closest taverna is 400m and the closest bakery and mini market is around 850m. We are recommending this villa mostly for couples since the location is romantic.

A Week in Paradise

There has been no expense spared on this villa. Where to start.... - Probably the best bed we've slept on in any rented property or hotel - Good quality outdoor furniture including chairs, tables and sun loungers - An outdoor bed which we used daily! There is nothing quite like lying there looking up at shooting stars as you fall asleep - A good sized infinity pool with incredible views - Daily cleaning service with linen changed mid-week, and the first rental property where we've arrived and it's been spotless. - A well equiped small, clean kitchen - A really attentive, friendly, property manager - Giorgos Then there is the peace, quiet and near-seclusion which is something else. This is a place to go to really relax, and just sit looking out over the bay of Vasiliki below. In the evenings, there are a few mosquitos but nothing substantial to prevent you sitting outside. The villa is 2.3km from the nearest restaurants on the seafront, and around 3.5km to the main town of Vasiliki where there are plenty more restaurants and a couple of bars. It is well positioned for the beaches of Porto Katsiki and Engemni, but Gialos is a better beach in my opinion. You will need a car. There are five villas one behind the other at ascending heights. They don't overlook one another and all have the view. The photos seem to be representative of all of them so the pictures may not be completely accurate depending which villa you are in (e.g. the glass partition may be in a slightly different place). However, they are representative of what to expect so don't be put off.

EVERYTHING IS FANTASITC

The villa is a dream to look at and even better to stay at. The villa Ponti is private and very relaxing,the villa is positioned in total privacy. Very comfortable bed too. The attention to detail is incredible, the beds one of the best we ever had the pleasure to sleep on. This is a beautiful a luxury villa. It was a perfect Villa. Stunning Sea views It is beautifully appointed, very clean. It is right across the road from a lovely beach and there are several tavernas close by. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. 5 minutes walk into the local village, with it's restaurants and bars. The pool is also great and very clean. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking to enjoy the sun and some relaxation. We could not have asked for anything more.
