Walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego's North County! Only a 6 minute walk. Moonlight Beach offers everything, a huge white sand beach, great swimming, surfing, beach volleyball, snack bar, playground. Walk to downtown restaurants, bars, coffee cafe, ice cream store and shopping. This is a detached home with a fully fenced in private backyard with barbecue and outdoor seating.

This home is in downtown Encinitas, a gorgeous upscale beach town with fantastic shops, restaurants and bars. Located just 15 minutes from Legoland, both high end shopping and factory outlet shopping, golf courses, the famous La Costa/Omni Spa, this home has it all.

The home is absolutely beautiful. Tastefully curated with comfortable furniture, a large kitchen, private grass backyard.

Possible monthly rental (not during the summer for June-August) for $13,500/month. Contact me for more information.

Please start a load of laundry. We really appreciate your help!

No smokings, no parties. We need to know about who will be staying there. The keys must be left in the lockbox at all times. Pretend it's yours.
We have a backyard with a lot of outdoor furniture. We have a fire pit that cannot be on the astro turf or next to the house. This is very important.
Please keep the house in a neat condition. Please put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher. No sand or shoes inside. Take all trash out. No food in LR

The cottage was everything our little family was looking for in a beach getaway. Perfect location, easy walk to the beach and to downtown Encinitas, lovely neighborhood, and the layout of the home was perfect. Guest cottage huge bonus! Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous luxury house blocks from the beach

The house was extremely well equipped, very clean and spacious. Th added guest house at back with twin beds, bathroom and air conditioning made out stay very comfortable. Will most certainly book the same property every year when we return for family reunions.

Great spot fur visiting relatives.

The house seems to have been very recently updated. The furnishings and appliances all seemed fairly new, and the decor was tastefully dinner throughout. There is a fourth bedroom in a side-building on the property that was great for the couple that wanted to sleep in and not be woken by the noise of the kids in the morning. Overall a great place, and we will look to stay here again next year.

I echo many of the past comments regarding cleanliness, supplies, location. My only suggestion would be a more accurate description of the property. The VRBO listing shows four bathrooms with four showers. The property has only three showers. The bathroom across from the second bedroom upstairs has only a toilet. Because the property description said it had three bedrooms and four bathrooms, I assumed there were ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. There are two ensuite bedrooms (primary bedroom upstairs and the detached guest cottage). The couple using the downstairs bedroom had to walk across the kitchen and dining room to access their bathroom. Not horrible, but unexpected and disappointing. But once you know this, everything else was great!

Excellent Stay in Encinitas

We were very pleased with the rental in Encinitas, the location is great with a short walk to the beach or shopping. The house was very comfortable and served as a great base for a relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for a California Beach vacation.

great house, great location!

really nice neighborhood and very close walking distance to Moonlight beach, and the local shops and restaurants in the area. Stayed for 5 days and only took the car out three times ! You can get away with walking and biking to most areas near here. The nice yard was great to have there and enjoy in the mornings and evenings as well. There was poor wifi connection when we arrived, about 1-2 days later i was able to figure it out- unplugged the routerin the cabinet above the microwave and then it worked. Recommendation: The R.O. water system wasn't functioning, and the water filter replacement light on the fridge indicates that the filter needs changing (My crew is picky about their drinking water- so i needed to go out and buy bottled water unfortunately) filtered fridge water and a working Reverse osmosis (RO) filter system (i live in Arizona- these are necessities!) are good/ should haves for a house in this price point.

Sylvia Beach Home!

This property was gorgeous and had everything needed for a family to enjoy the house amenities and well as the beach! I love that this location had parking, and is in walking distance to the local coffee shops and other shopping areas, not to mention the perfect distance from the beach! The house was very welcoming and all of the beds/bedrooms were comfortable! We would definitely stay here again! Additionally I liked the fact that we could access the supply pantry to clean up as needed, this place was like being at home!
