Come peace of mind: our price includes the supply of sheets, towels and house, the use of the sauna, the cleaning fee.
Only the mandatory tourist tax will be requested on site (1 € per day and per adult, free for children under 18).

Our room with bay window and panoramic view on the combe, contains a bed of 160 cm, a home cinema, with giant screen and video projector, a small office.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and hairdryer.

Located 750 m above sea level, on the edge of the village of Chaux des Crotenay (1h30 from Geneva, Lausanne, or Dijon), our cottage is halfway between the first ski slopes (bottom and alpine) the great lakes and the waterfalls (10 min). It is also the starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours.
For archeology enthusiasts, this is one of the alleged sites of the Battle of Alesia.

By giving us at least 15 days in advance your train schedule (arrival and departure exclusively at Chaux des Crotenay station), we will pick you up and drive you back to the train station.

All our rates include cleaning, renting sheets, towels, kitchen towels.
They do not include the obligatory municipal tourist tax (1 € per day and per person, free for under 18s), nor the optional kit.

Located 5 minutes from the center of the village of Chaux des Crotenay, you have:
• a medical office (3 doctors and a nurse)
• a pharmacy,
• a grocery store
• a cheese factory
• a La Poste relay,
• SNCF train station

In winter, the Domaine de Foncine le Haut, 10 minutes away, offers more than 100 km of cross-country trails, (link to Chapelle des Bois village home to the transjurassienne); 40 km of snowshoe trails and a family ski resort, ideal for starting downhill skiing, with the possibility of ESF courses (up to the bronze star) and equipment rental. For the confirmed, the resorts of Les Rousses (30 km) or Métabief (38 km) offer a larger area with views of the Swiss mountains.
Biathlon lovers are not left out, courses are also offered with equipment rental.
You can get started with the ski jumping on the Chaux Neuve springboard (20 min), where the greatest athletes challenge each other during the Nordic Combined World Cup (January 18-20, 2019).
Finally try the experience of a dog sled ride, and visit the Chaux Neuve Polar Park.

In summer, relax in the private garden barbecue, sun loungers and garden furniture are at your disposal. You will be spoiled for choice to swim and cool off in the region of the Great Lakes, always 10 minutes (Ilay Lakes, Narlay Maclu) or for the more adventurous in the river that meanders at the foot of our Combe.
Fishermen, kayaking, paddle the aquatic area is for you!
On the spot, if it is less beautiful, visit the church of the village (classified historical monument), and its small museum which will show you why Chaux des Crotenay is one of the alleged sites of the battle of Alésia.
Do not miss either the museum of the telescope in Morez (20 min), the museum of the Cow who laughs in Lons le Saunier (40 km) or that of the toy in Moirans in Mountain (40 km).
The visit of a cheese fruit is essential, as is the County House in Poligny (35 km).
