Even nicer than the pictures! Excellent location!
What a great stay! The house was even nicer than the pictures! Here are some positives:
- excellent location, close to restaurants, groceries, and Disney!
- owner was so friendly and welcoming! She met us there and did a whole walkthrough to get us familiar with everything
- house was clean and very spacious!
- pool area was amazing and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a long day
Here are some suggested improvements to make it 5 stars:
- there was only one tv in the whole house, which made it tough for our kids because they are 5 years apart and don’t have the same interests in tv shows
- we had to leave our shoes in the garage, which wasn’t a huge deal, but it would have been nice to have that heads up so we knew to bring house slippers because the floors on the whole bottom level aren’t carpeted so they can be hard on your feet and knees without any support
- the house could use a professional deep cleaning. We noticed a few areas that had cobwebs
- the backyard and patio are in desperate need of updating and TLC. There are weeds taking over and everything is dead. We didn’t spend any time out back because it was so run down
- the kitchen could use some updated pots and pans, they are pretty old and stained and the handle on one of the frying pans is hanging by a thread
- plan on buying any seasonings you need (even salt/pepper) if you’re planning on cooking as there are not any spices in the kitchen
- maybe have some board games or a deck of cards for families to play with during their stay
Overall we would love to come back and we had a great time!
