Natural light and amazing emerald green lake views flood every room of this open floor plan modern home built in 2013.

3 Full Bath Suites (King, King, Queen/Queen Bunk & Full/Full Bunk sets).
Also Queen sofa bed, 2 Twin Mattresses & Queen Air Mattress.

Fully equipped Kitchen with Granite Counter Tops & 4 Breakfast Bar Stools.
Indoor dining for 14 plus Outdoor dining for 6+. Freezer Chest on main floor for ice bag storage.

Entertainment: Ping Pong, Xbox, Premium Cable and two (2) 60” flat screen TVs, High-speed Xfinity Internet w/ Wifi in the house and even at the New Dock!

Verizon Cellular Service booster (use wifi calling for all other cell providers)

Lower Level has loads of floor space along with Mini fridge and Washer/Dryer in utility room

2 spacious decks with plenty of outdoor furniture, Bluetooth Speaker and 5-burner Charbroil Gas Grill. Upper level deck has covered area to enjoy outdoors even in less than perfect weather

Concrete path and concrete steps to water with Fire Pit. House and Dock ARE NOT Wheelchair accessible and not recommended for anyone needing assistance walking or climbing stairs.

New 2023 Private Covered Dock w/ integral 16'x36' Partially Covered Swim Platform with 8-12 person square Table & Ceiling Fan. 13'H Jumping Platform and Bench Swim Seat make the dock a great place to hang out for hours. Stream your favorite music with full Wifi access at the Dock. (Owner's boat on lift in 1 of the 2 covered boat slips. Owner's jet skis on jet docks. Neither available for renter use.)

3 kayaks, child’s paddle board & canoe available for use (Life jackets required - 2 each are in house closets - Med Adult/Youth and Child)

Driveway parking room for 5+ vehicles and roadside parking for Boat trailer and 1-2 vehicles.

Indian River Marina is closest by land for launching your boat (15-min drive)

Whitman Hollow Marina is closest by water and offers pontoon rentals (<5 min boat ride). Also Froggies is a great casual dining / bar with summer time live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Sequoyah Marina is largest full-service marina offering runabout & pontoon Boat rentals and Jet Ski Rentals. Also large restaurant with Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.

Worth the money.

4th year going to lake. Best part was being 20 minutes off the interstate versus driving another hour on back roads toying a boat and jet ski like the last 3 properties we have stayed.

Wonderful place to stay

We enjoyed our time very much at this property. Scott was very responsive and the house was well stocked unlike some houses we have stayed at that barely had pots to use for cooking. The dock was terrific and the family has a great time using it.

Great! We had an amazing vacation! House & boat dock are excellent. Location on the water is good. Scott was accessible & communicated well. Stairs to the boat dock are a beast.

Beautiful home

We have stayed at many VRBO homes and condos and this was the cleanest by far. This house had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for our family and beautiful views. Great place to stay!

Family Vacation 2023

We had a great week at the lake house and would definitely recommend! The view of the lake is amazing from the house and the dock is great for kids with the jumping platform and the bench that sits in the water.

Relaxing stay

Really enjoyed the location of this house. Previous stay had been over by Sugar Hallow Marina. Which is nice but I prefer this area, prettier and more coves to discover. The back deck and views are beautiful. The new dock is really a nice upgrade.

Enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for 10 adults/kids. House is in great shape. Dock is excellent nice upgrades, kids liked jumping off the dock ledge. Great location close to local marina. Great communication with home owner. Overall it was an awesome trip.

Very Clean & Family Friendly

A couple of us went down for a calm weekend at the lake. The steps to/from the lake were no joke, but at least it keeps us skinny! Overall, besides the slight power outage due to a storm, very nice weekend there and would recommend to any friends going to use this place!

Perfect lake getaway

This was a great rental experience. The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful. The house was spacious, well furnished and very clean. Good communication from the owner. Everything as advertised and even a little better. Highly recommend this property!

Gorgeous house and view! Very close to Whitman Hallow

My husband and I loved staying at this gorgeous house. Breath-taking view. Very close to Whitman Hallow. Very clean, new, modern. We hope to stay here again. Very quick to respond to any questions we had. Definitely 5 stars! Loved it!!

Beautiful views

We spent 5 days with our adult children and had a great time. The house was spacious, clean, and had beautiful views. The steps gave us plenty of exercise! The only suggestion we would make is that it would have been nice to have some seating on the dock so there would be a place to relax and spend time right at the water, while the kids fished, swam, etc. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with.

Lake life fun

The home is beautiful & has wonderful views from all levels & most of the rooms. The number of steep steps down to the lake required some planning to limit our trips for sure. Having such a well equipped boat house with plenty of room & activities (kayaking, swimming) & space for a pontoon & 2 jet skis was great! Really appreciated the collapsible wagons for loading & unloading our cars!

Great Last-Minute Getaway

This was a last minute trip to get away for a bit after all of the unfortunate events happening right now. Our family needed a change of scenery so we went on VRBO and we sure are glad that we chose this home. Beautiful home, very clean and plenty of room. The owner supplies many water activities for the family on their beautiful dock which was great. The few times that that I had to contact the owner with any questions, he responded right away and was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this property, especially if you have a boat because we were able to keep our boat at their dock which was very convenient.

Beautiful lakefront home!

We stayed at this beautiful home for 4 days last week and loved every minute of it. The home has a lot to offer which our kids took full advantage of - kayaks, canoe, paddle board, lily pad, ping pong, and other games found at the house. The home is conveniently located 15 minutes from the highway which made it nice for getting groceries or grabbing a bite to eat. We rented a pontoon from Indian River Marina which was also only minutes away. The owners are easy to work with, which made our vacation that much nicer. If you have never been to Norris Lake you should consider renting this home so you can fully enjoy what the lake has to offer. Thank you Tara and Sam!!

Fantastic!!

The Lake house was everything it was described as! Our family of 7 stayed there with plenty of space for family time but also to spread out when needing our own space. The porches were are great way to start the day and watch the lake go from quiet to busy as the morning hour got later. Being right on the Lake was a huge asset for our family. All the water toys were put to great use- canoe, kayaks, lily pad and dock were enjoyed by all. The hill going down to the lake was great exercise also. If that isn't enough for you, taking a walk on the hilly streets will! Morning walks were the best. We have been renting house for our vacation for many years and I always read the reviews when deciding which one to get. That being said, this house has terrific reviews and I agreed with them after staying there. Sam and Tara have a beautiful home and I would highly recommend it. Thanks for a great 2018 vaca!! Perfect Lake House!

My husband and I visited with our 4 children and had the best time. We have been to Lake Norris before and love the location of this house. Being less than 15 minutes from the Walmart was so helpful. The home was spacious and has beautiful views. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks that were provided. We had a great time!!

Lake trip

Enjoyed this rental very much. Had plenty of room for large family. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed the dock and rented boats and could pull right up to dock to load. Would have loved to used the firepit but it was a little steep to get to to feel comfortable. In dark with kids. Scott did say he is redoing this fall. Scott was very easy to communicate with and gave great advice on marinas. Etc. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful lake home.

Norris lake house

This is a very nice property located in a really nice area of Norris Lake. We loved the location because we could easily boat and swim in safe areas without a lot of boat traffic. We enjoyed kayaking in the area as well since there are calm coves close by. The steps to get down to the dock are pretty steep but that is very common on the lake. The house had a lot of room and we were able to comfortably spread out during our stay.

As lifelong TN fans, we spent summers at Norris and always dreamed of having a lakefront home here. Finally in 2019 we were able to make that dream a reality. We are grew up mainly in Ohio, so Go Bucks and Go Vols!

Why they chose this property

Big Creek is just the best area on the lake in our opinion. Deep Water and less congestion than the Deerfield area make this the perfect location.

What makes this property unique

The views from both full-house-width decks along with the custom boat dock make this property perfect for large groups or small groups wanting to really get the most out of the lake access or simply to enjoy the emerald green water view for hours.
