Private and peaceful getaway studio

Really nice studio, looks just like the pictures. Property manager was responsive but not at all overbearing, a lot of privacy, detailed instructions on check-in, operating the tech, check-out expectations, and recommended local spots. All in all a great experience

Perfect for a couple. Very comfy and most everything you need for a short stay.

If I could make a suggestion, the bed could have used nightstands with lights, but maybe that's in the plan as this is a sparkly new renovation. The tv has amazing surround sound!! I don't know if we'll stay again cos I'm a light sleeper & you can hear nearly every step from the vacationing tenants above. But otherwise a top notch place to stay!! Beautiful wooded setting!

Weekend Getaway

Location was clean, comfortable, and close to Harpers Ferry sights, breweries, and local food. Property is quiet and in a private wooded development community. We saw only trees and wildlife from the porch. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.

Nice remote getaway for a night

The property was as described. The basement has been nicely renovated with good flooring and furniture, a retro style refrigerator, a wine fridge (if you'll be there a few days). The fire pit was awesome, 2 logs burned for almost 3 hours, and the cicadas and other critters chirping in the woods was a welcome change from the concrete jungle, street lights, and constuction activity. the queen bed was softer than expected, so I slept on the couch for part of the night which was fine. its close to Harper's Ferry and Bolivar so you can get food before you check in and after check out. (we ate at Anvil and the Country Cafe... definitely recommend both).

Cute little studio!

This was a very cute little place to stay. Had everything we needed. Only downfall really, was the bed was very soft and almost sunk in the middle. Also, there is very little insulation between top floor and basement- we could hear everything upstairs (talking, running around). We just kept the TV on and it seemed to drown it out. Wish we could have used the firepit but it was very windy. Overall, a cute little place that accommodated us with some R&R.

Wonderful!

I was looking for a quiet get-away, and this place was perfect. I felt really lucky that no one else was renting the main house. What really made it the best was being able to communicate with the property owner. He was always very prompt and kind. I arrived at night and didn’t have internet to see the key code. When I called him, he called back immediately. It was chilly in the room and there was no thermostat, so I called him and once again, he quickly took care if it by turning up the heat remotely. The property is in a beautiful location and guests have everything they need right there. My only wish is that I wish check out was at 12 instead of 11. I wanted more time to be there and enjoy the place and the location without rushing off to get out.

Harpers Ferry mountain retreat

This property is tucked away, yet close enough to all the local attractions. The modern apartment was nice and spacious, and we had room to work out. The rear deck was nice, and we saw three deer not far from the home in the morning.

Lovely and Clean Mountain Getaway

My friends and I had a great time at this property. While it is not the entire house to yourself, the separate entrance and private porch makes it feel more like a separate apartment than just a rented basement.

Great get away for a few days

Great place located in the woods near Harpers Ferry. Has fire pit and wildlife wondering in the yard as I was drinking my coffee in the morning. Very clean and just a great place to stay. I’d live there permanently if I could.
