The home was gorgeous- comfortable, great set up, family friendly and plenty of activities in the house. We had more space than we knew what to do with (and were lucky with good weather to mostly be out on the lake).The beds were comfortable.

We had a nice family stay. House is decorated nicely. Outside areas could use some tlc. Being on Candle wood lake was a big plus for boating. We look forward to hopefully returning next year

My wife and I used this property for our wedding party to stay and get ready for our wedding at The Candlewood Inn. It was very spacious, clean, and had amazing views of the lake. We all had an amazing time and had plenty of room for everyone. I highly suggest renting this property if you have a lot of friends or family staying with you.

Gorgeous and spacious property, great time with family

Gorgeous and spacious property with enough space to host 4 families, with great private and communal spaces. We stayed here for 4 nights with 8 adult family members and 2 toddlers. The owner(s) were responsive leading up to and during our stay. The outdoor spaces were comfortable and peaceful with direct access to the lake - we swam, rented a boat and enjoyed time on the dock. A few unexpected things that came up were that the property didn't come stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and toiletries, which would have been nice to know before we got there, but town/stores were accessible. We also had a few cooks in the kitchen who all found the induction oven to be a bit finicky. Otherwise we had a really nice trip!!

Great time with family

We rented this property for a change of scenery and unplug for a few days. We had a great time and the house was everything we needed. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We went skiing locally on our last day and the owner was gracious enough to allow us to leave our stuff at the house for a late check out so we didn’t have to bring everything to the mountain. The property is in a great location and we will definitely look to come back in the summer to spend time on the lake. We highly recommend the property and the responsiveness of the owner makes it that much better.

Great gathering space

This was our second time at this wonderful property. We had an extended family holiday gathering in 2019 and in 2021. House is well equipped, spacious and very clean. Beautiful location right on the lake and a short drive to shops, restaurants etc. There are several wonderful common areas in this home which was the best feature for our group- a large open kitchen, dining area, two living room spaces- one with large TV, and a downstairs room with pool table, home gym,kitchen area and full bathroom. Would highly recommend this property for a large family or multiple smaller family gathering.

Great getaway in a beautiful setting on the lake.

The house was very comfortable with plenty of room. It has an open concept with a beautiful view. The finished basement with an additional kitchen came in handy for overflow. We were very happy with all the accommodations.

Fabulous Girls Weekend Getaway

The house is just like the pictures, very well furnished and clean. There was plenty of space for 9 of us, with some room to spare. The view is amazing, the kitchen was a great gathering place and was well stocked. We will definitely stay again, it was amazing.

The place is exactly what it states in the description. The only thing I would add is more toiletries, extra toilet paper, paper towels and maybe a trash bag or two. I would absolutely book this house again! So beautiful and comfortable!

Amazing weekend

We spent this past labor day weekend here and it was just splendid. The house is huge and the pictures really dont do it justice. The kids loved the lake access right in the backyard. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

Family Vacation 2021

We have stayed at this property once before and enjoyed our stay. The views are breathtaking, and the location is great. We had 8 to 10 people during our two stays and the house is big enough that you have plenty of space to hang out. We typically rent a boat so having the dock is key. Overall the house is stunning, the location terrific, the outdoor gear like the kayaks in good condition. The property manager has always been responsive to our questions and or minor issues we encountered. Our family would definitely go back again! Enjoy all!

Absolutely Amazing!!

I stayed at this property June 2021 and it was nothing short of amazing. From the layout to the house, to the decor, to the location, everything was perfect. The property was very clean which makes the house very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, yet it can be very intimate with their tv spaces. You cannot ask for better proximity to the Marina where you rent a boat. Very easy to pull the boat up to the dock and just walk on right from the house. I had a great time and will definitely be back!! Thank you for having us. It was spectacular.

Gorgeous home!

This home is perfect for a weekend getaway! It was perfect for our couples trip, definitely enough room for all of us to enjoy each other’s company and big enough to have our own space. We never felt as we were on top of each other. We really appreciated how clean the home was, especially now during Covid.I would definitely recommend and would definitely book this home again!

Lots of room for adult family members to work remotely...

plus great views of the lake from the house and scenic walks on local roads with little traffic. Stayed in the middle of winter so no water sports but also no crowds to contend with. Lots of nearby restaurants for takeout and stores for shopping . Property managers responsive to a couple of mechanical issues that arose One request: pls leave better directions for use of induction cook top and gas fireplace. Perhaps a printed sheet for each one.
