Th home was amazing!!! Beautiful inside and out, comfortable, quiet, relaxing. The host was so great, thoughtful and made sure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. The location is ideal for exploring multiple areas yet out of town to be able to unwind.
Set on the side of a valley with fantastic views from the terrace and the garden, this place is a haven of tranquility. The property is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. The location is great with Verona just 15 minutes away, and Padua, Mantua & Vicenza all within 1 to 1.5hrs drive.Thank you Francesco, for being such a warm and generous host.
We had a wonderful stay here! The property has everything you need including a lovely bright and open kitchen, and a great outdoor patio and seating place to enjoy the views. This place is isolated in its setting but not in location and is close to big supermarkets and bigger towns for day trips. We had a restful stay and were well looked after by Francesco - Grazie Mille!
A very comfortable house in delightful countryside, within a short instance of Verona. It was surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and so peaceful. Francesco was the perfect, helpful host.
During our time in Italy, we stayed in four locations and this was our favorite. It is such a comfortable home, with thoughtful attention to detail. The location is beautiful, nestled in olive groves and overlooking mountain vineyards. The hosts were kind and attentive. You do need a car to get around as it is outside the city, which was the only drawback. However, the property made that worth the effort. We would absolutely recommend this property!
Loved waking up to stunning views every day, watching the sun rise and set, the fog roll in and out below and hearing the church bells chime the hour. Francesco has set this place up beautifully. The location is totally private but is only 10 minutes from the nearest supermarket and 20 mins from Verona. Beautiful country lanes to approach the house, close to a walking trail. Our winter stay was extremely comfortable and warm. Wish we got a chance to light the fire. Would love to return.
Excellent communication with Francesco prior to our arriva, and kind enough to allow an early check in. Found the property no problem with satnav but you need to be prepared for some hairpin bends up the hill. The property was gorgeous, and as listed. We were welcomed by Franceso and he brought gifts of wine, his own olive oil and some essentials. The place is idyllic, well equipped, quiet, and was just perfect for our week break. We visited Verona, Venice and Lake Garda from the house. We ate in on all evenings as it was too nice not to use. There is a Super Rossetto (large supermarket) 10 mins drive from the property. Thank you Francesco
This is truly a magnificent property, Francesco and his daughter Ana met us on our arrival with a beautiful gift basket full of delicious goodies including his own homemade olive oil!, which by the way we purchased an additional 2 liters because it was exceptional. The house was very clean and neat and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. the setting of the house on a hillside was so beautiful we sat outside every evening and enjoyed the view while enjoying our wine and cheese and salami. The bed was cozy and comfortable we left the windows open to let in the the clean fresh air and we could hear the church bells ring from across the valley. If your looking for a quiet and charming Italian retreat just minutes from the Beautiful city of Verona this is the only place I would stay. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to this most Beautiful property near Verona. Ciao
In general, we are looking for holiday homes in a quiet location, for which we sometimes accept less than ideal transport connections.
Caranatura however is in a fantastic locatoni. Here you only hear the chirping of the birds and the church clock in the valley and you are still in about 10 minutes on the Tangenziale Est, the connection to the motorway network and in 20 minutes in Verona`s city center.
With regard to the house itself, we can only agree with all the reviews - lovingly furnished and very clean!
Francesco, the owner, has made a significant contribution to our well-being. Very personable, helpful without being intrusive and above all - you can feel how much heart he puts into renting Caranatura to his guests.

Assolutamente consigliati
