Lover's Leap Lodging is 1.2 miles from public access on the Beaverhead River below the promontory that marks the point of "Clark's Lookout" along the Lewis and Clark Trail. This 4 bedroom home is available year around for short and longer stays. The owners, Sandy and Jeannie, are experienced hosts . They are both from Montana pioneering families and can answer most any question about the history and events in the area. Children are welcome and will love their room with bunk beds.
Sandy is in the process of retiring from the ranch on Horse Prairie where he has lived all of his life. He is a musician/songwriter and he and Jeannie are founders and directors of the Dillon Junior Fiddlers. Jeannie is a multimedia artist, working mostly in paint and stained glass. Original art decorates the walls of the house.
The whole house is available for guests.
Lover's Leap Lodging is located about 5 minutes from downtown Dillon, yet has all the charm of rural living. The property is nine acres, and the view is spacious. There are several out buildings where Sandy is currently housing his collectables. Old car buffs will love his old cars.
