The house was very clean and welcoming. It was perfect for our large group of three families. We enjoyed a nice winter getaway, with ice fishing, a sleigh ride and tubing at a local ski resort. The host, Bob, was very helpful with info about the area and answered any questions we had. He sent a email with so much useful information ahead of time. I really appreciated that extra touch as it helped us to plan our activities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

The house was exactly as described and exceeded expectations. It offered plenty of space both inside and out, with activities to keep all ages entertained. The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, even for adults. Everything was very clean, well-maintained, and stocked with anything you could possibly need. A perfect stay for families or groups—we would definitely return!

Large family vacation, perfect cozy cottage

We had a great stay at this cabin! The two main bedrooms were very spacious, the two bunk rooms accommodated many of the children we had with us (9 kids, aged 7mths to 12YO). We had 4 couples in our group to go with the kids so one couple had to stay in the bunk room with their kids, which was fine too. We used the boat launch as a beach within walking distance and it worked out perfectly for us. The yard is mostly dirt and a little grass, but our kids had tons of fun. The outside games the house already had were awesome! The kitchen definitely needed some updated tools and the knives are in severe need of sharpening. For all the cooking "vessles" the home offers, including two huge fridges (totally awesome), the kitchen tools were lacking and made it hard to cook sometimes. Overall excellent stay, gaylord is a great area with tons of stores! The location of this cabin was very quiet and peaceful without being too far from town (about 10 mins drive)

We enjoyed staying here and skiing at Otsego for the New Year! The place accommodated our group and ski gear so well! Love all the hooks, bathrooms and seating areas. Excellent find.

Hosts were super accommodating. They let us check in early since it was open. The place had tons of items for outdoor fun (fire pit, outdoor games, canoes/kayaks, etc.). Multiple TVs, video game consoles, etc. Hosts live close and came over immediately to address a possible issue and took a fee off for a possible inconvenience.

Great Stay!

We were a group of 4 couples and we had plenty of room and a great stay! The kitchen was well supplied and we had space to all eat together and play games. The owner had some special treats for us upon our arrival. We had a slight issue with one of the appliances and the owner was able to come right away and work with us. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again!

Fun with grandkids.

The house is great for a big group. Complementary soda, a bottle of wine, and fresh tomatoes was a great touch to make you feel welcome. Very, very clean and neat.

Great Getaway

The house itself is an enhanced modular home with all the bells and whistles. Its incredibly clean and cozy. The rooms are all very large. The house is packed with anything and everything you could think of. The outdoor space is wonderful. Tons of entertaining spaces and a nice trail to the lake. The house is on the end of private road, so no need to worry about traffic. The hosts are super responsive and helpful and dont ask too much of you. Would recommend a million times over.
