Decent accommodations, issues with the building and staff
The unit was pretty much as described, but the unit being on the 4th floor became a problem when the elevators were not working properly throughout our stay. Per the staff on-site, this is a regular occurrence. When we arrived the service elevators (which are the only approved elevators for luggage) were down and remained down for the entirety of our stay (6 days). We used the stairs for most of the stay because one of the main elevators was also broken and they were policing the number of passengers/items that could be loaded into the only working elevator (no more than 4 people). The unit itself was the right amount of space for our family and clean enough. There was a serious lack of towels for the number of people in our party. The staff on the property were pretty rude and not apologetic for the many things broken around the property. The gym is a joke, almost everything was broken, the tennis courts were closed for repair, and they were working on the exterior of the building right above the pool so you heard power tools all day. We checked in on a Sunday and had no issues with coming and going from the beach, but on Wednesday afternoon there was a "security guard" at the pool who harassed us for not having on a wristband. At no point did anyone let us know that a wristband was needed. No one provided us with one at check-in either. She ended up giving us wristbands to wear for the remainder of our trip. We did enjoy the balcony and the main living space.
