Serene condo. It was the perfect spring break for my family of 6. We spent a lot of time walking along the beach and relaxing on the back patio watching the sunset. This is our return trip from 2021. Perfect destination to escape the business of everyday life

This is a gorgeous spot for a relaxing beach vacation. Beautiful house (it shares a wall with quiet neighbors) with bedrooms in three separate, private wings, each with their own bathrooms, with two bedrooms having knockout views of the beach, and well-stocked kitchen with everything you need (including good coffee, oil and vinegar etc.) and a welcoming family room. The house has a great barbecue grill and all the necessary beach stuff. The hosts responded to questions immediately and made the place really welcoming. The site is a private, quiet beach community with tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, a nice pool and a good hot tub. And the beach goes on for miles. And you are an easy drive to amazing coastal walks, a redwood grove, and Monterey and its famous aquarium. I went with three generations of family members, eight in all, and it worked well and we had a blast.

Beautiful property, house was exactly as described and better. Fully stocked with everything a kitchen would need to cook for families. Bathrooms were also stocked which was a great help. Owners were quick to communicate if needed. Location was absolutely lovely, the dunes are stunning, and the beach is incredible.

A Second Great Stay

Family get away

This place has everything. From beach and sunset with pool and sports courts to having every possible accessory needed as if it were your own home, this place had it all. Everything was spelled out and easy… didn’t need to contact the owner once during our entire stay. If coming back to Moss Landing, would definitely stay again.

Overall, the cleanliness is the biggest issue that needs serious improvement.The good:- Beach front house.- Four bedrooms for family.- Easy to access, checkin and checkout.- Plenty of cooking and kitchen stuff.The bad:- Musty and grimy towels, some are not dry at all.- Beddings with stains/hairs and also a grimy smell.- Cooking pots mostly with large scratches on the nonstick layers, which is unhealthy to heat and use.- Heating in one of the bathroom (right side of the door) didn't work.

We are sorry that you found your stay unsatisfactory. We take much pride in The cleanliness and overall efficiency of our beach house. As guests will note in the past, our beach house has been s wonderful experience as our reviews will show. We have never received anything less then 10 for the last 4 years of renting And almost. 200 reviews. We can assure you that all linens and towels are thoroughly washed and dried. Perhaps bedspread stain was overlooked by cleaners, which I will follow up with. We are on the ocean so perhaps musty smell comes from this on occasion. We do not allow dogs, so hair issue I’m confused about. As far as pots, pans scratched?? Again, never been an issue…but I will certainly look into this. Of course, we Are disappointed in the fact that your stay was not what you expected, and do appreciate feedback,..all concerns will be Addressed to insure our high standards.

A Slice of Heaven

This was an amazing place to stay. The view was incredible, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The appliances were new and the furniture was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the BEST time at this beachfront home! From cooking together and playing board games to splashing in the waves and watching unforgettable sunsets, it was the perfect holiday weekend getaway. The house was spotless, super comfortable, and the perfect size for our family of five.The kids couldn’t get enough of building sandcastles and running straight into the ocean just steps from the door, while the adults loved relaxing and soaking in those jaw-dropping sunsets. The hosts thought of everything—we truly felt at home the entire stay.Amazing views, unbeatable location, and wonderful hosts… this place has it all! A great after Christmas family getaway! Loved the remote location for peace and tranquility. The house was well stocked for cooking, comfy beds, kitchen table was a big gathering place for games/cards great grill, and the view of the ocean was amazing. Will come back!

Best Beach Getaway Place in Monterey area

The Beautiful house is steps away from the beach. Ted and Rose are very accommodating and responsive. This is easily my favorite beach getaway in the whole area.

We love the ocean and love Monterey Dunes. The dunes offer a unique setting. The dunes are a ecosystem unto itself. Very rare to have the dunes to be viewed from the home as well the ocean.

Why they chose this property

we are in the middle of nowhere short distance to Santa Cruz to the north, and to the south: Big Sur, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Monterey, and Point Lobos

What makes this property unique

we live in a gated community. We have a community pool (when in season) jacuzzi, Tennis , Golf nets, volley ball, pickle ball, basketball, bocce ball and shuffle board at the clubhouse a short walk away for the unit.
