The location of the home is excellent. A short walk into town which is important during busy season. House was in decent condition but some oddities such as a slipcover on the couch which was messy and lightweight rugs covering the floors with no pads so slid around constantly. Beds and linens okay; pillows awful and towels pretty rough. There is no hot tub despite it being advertised to have one. So not luxurious but it works for larger groups/families and kitchen is nicely stocked.

Skiing trip in Cortina

A very nice and spacious apartment at the third floor (watch out, no elevator) with a beautiful view of the Dolomites. The kitchen is very well equipped, ready to accommodate a large group. 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a great space for a large group. Very smooth communication with the host. Overall great experience

Breathtaking Views

The views from the balcony are stunning and the location is perfect for accessing restaurants, bars and shopping. We each had our own comfortable rooms while having ample space for meals and socializing. Host was gracious and quick to respond with any questions. We visited in early June and while many Refugio's were not open, we felt like we had the hikes to ourselves. Amazing trip!

Excellect Stay... Wonderful Apartment, Wonderful Owner, Wonderful Host!!!

We book Alessandro's apartment and cannot say enough wonderful words. The views from all balconies were amazing and everything was super clean. The art on the walls was wonderful to view and take in. The set up of the apartment and the apartment was one of the best on our trip. Alessandro took extra time before our visit to answer many questions and give us wonderful recommendations on restaurants, things to do and visit as well as misc other things. Lorella met us and showed us the apartment. Lorella was wonderful, we ran into her in town and she was so friendly and nice. She keeps the place amazing. Email sent to Alessandro: We enjoyed our visit to Cortina and appreciate the suggestions you gave us very much and the time and effort you put in to do so. Your place was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed it very much... WONDERFUL!!! We went to the top of the mountain but did not do the walk down, seemed a little too much for our children but we had many beautiful walks in the area and had lunch at the top of the mountain after we took the lift up. It was a fantastic trip and fantastic place to stay. Also, Lorella was wonderful to work with and we enjoyed meeting her very much. Our regards to both of you.

Cozy top-floor apartment close to the pedestrian-only part of town

My group of 10 stayed in this apartment for half a week and used it as a base for hiking in the mountains and on the via ferrata trails of the area. The apartment is a bit of a trek up the stairs for the grandparents (to the third floor), but it has a small kitchen with enough space to cook meals, a large table that fit everyone, next to a couch that that fit most of us. It was not a large space, though it was big enough, as we were out most of the days. One of the main floor bedrooms had two single beds and a bathroom accessible through the living room. Two other bedrooms with queen beds shared a second bathroom on that level. And upstairs were a bedroom with three singles and a second bedroom with one single, and those rooms shared a bathroom. The decor was pleasant and the apartment was clean. There was a view of mountains out the main room's windows. When our wifi didn't work from the beginning, the host responded and his manager bought a new wifi system, which was working mid-way through our stay. The washing machine worked smoothly and our laundry dried overnight on racks in the corner of the kitchen despite stormy weather outside. The house was just a few minutes walk to the pedestrian part of town, with plenty of restaurants, rental stores for via ferrata gear and the tourist info office. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come again in the future.

Cortina Penthouse

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 days / 5 nights in this VERY spacious Cortina penthouse. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. The view from the balcony was fantastic. And there is no need to drive once you arrive as very centrally located . Louella, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and was available 'on call' if we needed her for anything. Noted: there are multiple steps to this 4th floor penthouse. We had no problem with them (needed the execise) but may be a problem if someone is handicapped. There is wench available that can lift the heavy luggage to the top floor...which we used and greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this property.

Comfortable chalet in a stunning setting

The penthouse occupies the top two floors of a four-story building a ten-minute walk from central Cortina, with a balcony looking out over the valley to the 10,000-foot Tofana. We were a group of seven, and with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, we never felt cramped. The minor problems we had were responded to promptly. Those with mobility issues should be aware that there are 60 steps from the street to the front door. Highly recommended!

Excellent rental centrally located in Cortina

This is an excellent rental centrally located in Cortina. We are 5 active adults, aged mid-60s to early 70s, who were fortunate to stay in this comfortable property for 5 nights in early July 2018. The apartment is described accurately and fairly on the Homeaway website. We found it to be very spacious with good privacy and comfort for 5 people, although it could easily accommodate more. It was clean and well furnished. We appreciated the access to multiple bathrooms. The rental served us well as a home base for day hiking and touring in the area, as well as for local dining and shopping. We tended to eat breakfasts and some dinners “in” and found the kitchen and dining areas well equipped and more than adequate. Central Cortina is less than a 15 minute walk away, even less if you walk faster than we do. We did our food shopping at the nearby Kangaru, which is a decent-sized, well stocked supermarket that unfortunately offers very limited parking, so be prepared for that. Although we never met Alessandro personally, we found him to be a very friendly, responsive, and accommodating host. For example, when one of our party became the victim of a theft of personal documents (in Venice), Alessandro graciously agreed to help facilitate the receipt of replacement documents from the U.S. on an emergency basis. We also greatly enjoyed meeting and talking with Lorella. Some caveats: The location can be difficult to find at first. It may help to know that house is up a steep driveway located directly across the street from the IP gas station, which is hard to miss. As some reviewers have noted, the trek up the stairs to the apartment may be a bit challenging. Certainly it will be inadvisable for people with mobility issues. We found it tiring, particularly with luggage or backpacks, but not a significant obstacle. Finally, the wifi provider frequently denied us access to coverage. Although this was very frustrating, it never rose beyond the annoyance level and did not seriously compromise our visit. On the intermittent occasions when wifi did work, it was excellent. If and when we (hopefully) return to Cortina we look forward to staying at this apartment again. Thank you Alessandro.

A good spot for a ski week

Enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of beds for everyone, and everything was clean and well kept. The stairs were challenging after a long day of skiing, and it's a little bit of a walk from the center of town, but some people might prefer that. All in all, a good spot.

Pulito, nuovo, Wi-Fi free,con grandi spazi in comune, comodissimo per raggiungere a piedi il centro di cortina. Proprietario gentilissimo e molto disponibile.ci torneremo sicuramente I recommend this property to anyone with a large family, it was very spacious and everything was brand new. there are 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 with a bathrooms and 1 with a modern shower. All the furniture, also in the kitchen,were modern and neat. All very clean. The free wifi was very useful. Just a short walk to the center of Cortina ( 5 minutes from the famous "cooperativa cortinese"!! I would stay there again

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia per gia' tre vacanze in questa comodissima ampia mansarda, e sicuramente continueremo ad affittarla nei prossimi anni. Ogni anno ci torno con grande gioia! Vicinissima al centro con magnifica vista sulle montagne. Dotata di ogni confort: forno micronde-frullatori-macchina nespresso x caffe, tutto cio' che serve per una vacanza confortevole. Dispone di tre bagni davvero molto belli e nuovi, e ben 5 camere da letto comode e spaziose. Comodo anche il parcheggio sotto casa e il garage, di facilissimo accesso in caso di mal tempo invernale. Proprietario molto disponibile e attento ad ogni esigenza, sempre reperibile.
