Travel back to a simpler time at Little Farm, a lovingly restored 1930s farm house in Brookings, Oregon. This charming farm house, done in early-century rural American style, features a private farm populated by a variety of kid- and adult-friendly animals, cared for by Future Farmers of America participants.
Little Farm provides a one-of-a-kind step back in time to a more peaceful era, for adults and children alike. It’s a bit like having your own private petting zoo, although the animals are safely contained in a large, shady fenced area that includes shelters and two henhouses.
The farm is also within walking distance of Sporthaven Beach, and easy driving distance to Harris Beach and the Chetco, Winchuck and Smith Rivers. It’s a convenient less-than-ten-minute drive to downtown Brookings and Harbor.
A stay at Little Farm will be an experience that you and your family will always remember.

Great Stay

Host was really nice and the rental was super clean. They left snacks to feed the animals and we would definitely stay there again.

Why they chose this property

This quaint 1920s farm house will give you the feel of living on a farm (without the work!). You will enjoy the animals and peacefulness of the area. Please note that because it is a 1920s farmhouse, it has characteristics as such: maintenance must be done at times and we will do our best to work around your stay and the heat is through a fireplace and baseboard heaters so in the winter months it might take longer to heat the home. The experience will be worth it! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable.

1. Responsible renters must be at least 25 years old.
2. We have a strict no loud noise for the safety of the rescue animals as well as respect for our neighbors.
3. Animals are stricty for viewing. Please do not feed them, as some are on strict diets. Owner is not responsible for injury. Please stay out of locked & gated areas.
4. All guests on the property must be registered. No visitors permitted on the property at any time.
5. There is parking available for 2 vehicles. Additional vehicles/recreational vehicles/trailers must have prior approval.
6. Please treat the home like you would like someone to treat your home. If you don’t know how to use something, ask. If you break something, let us know. Wipe your shoes before you come in and please leave the house the way you found it when you leave. There is an additional refrigerator/freezer in the garage for your convenience.
7. Wood is provided in the home. Additional wood should be provided by the renter. It is the responsibility of the renter to purchase additional amenities if needed.
