Benjamin's Pier is located in the completely remodeled Laguna Reef Condominiums and is the perfect place to spend some quality time away from home. Soak up the sun in the swimming pool, fish off the 1000 foot lighted fishing pier, or simply enjoy the view from the hot tub. This ground floor room has two queen size beds and is perfect for your family vacation. You will find everything needed for your vacation; fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee/tea bar. Guests are welcome to enjoy using the fun supplies included in the room; fishing supplies for the pier, beach supplies, board games and the coffee/tea bar; equipped with everything you need to start your day off right.

Benjamin's Pier at Laguna Reef is located near the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach. Spend a day in the sun at the Rockport Beach where you can rent jet skis, swim with the kids, or grill up some food at one of the picnic areas.

Rockport is a charming coastal town with plenty of fun things to do including amazing restaurants and many local shops. Rockport Art Center, Maritime Museum, Boat Cruise to San Jose island, and Kayaking are just a few of the activities you can enjoy during your stay.

This was a great experience. The owners are very friendly and quick to respond. They go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. The property is well kept and clean.

I will just say this was very disappointing rental. So tiny, did not even have a drawer to put our clothes away. No soap of any kind for shower or sink. No glass for sink to brush your teeth or take meds. The only positive was that the bed was very comfortable.

Great Stay

My husband and our two pups had a great stay here. Room was clean and comfortable. The building was well kept. The pool/hot tub were perfect for cooling off. The view was awesome and the fishing pier was perfect. Sturdy, clean, easy to access. No crowds. Just peaceful. We will be back.

Well stocked and perfect for a quick getaway

Happy with our stay!

Although this is a small hotel like room- it was perfect for what we needed. It was stocked better than some of the houses I’ve booked before. Pool and hot tub was nice. Fishing pier was great for fishing with my family. Location is right by the beach and downtown. Communication with owner was quick and easy. I recommend this place if you need something small and convenient.

Convenient location

This condo unit was like a hotel room. The area around the condo was easily walkable. This particular unit overlooks the parking lot, but it’s close to the end and just a short walk takes you to the bay. Very nice amenities.

If you want a hotel room with fishing equipment

The room is a basic motel room, and was considerably more expensive than one. The benefit of staying at this property is provided fishing equipment and access to a lighted pier. It is right on the water, which is lovely.

50 year anniversary

Address on Google showed a vacant lot first though was we were scammed. Photo of property was wrong property. Maintance guy at photo property tried to help but did not have any information on our rental. We stopped a UPS driver asked about address he had never seen our property. He suggested that we check the Laguna reef hotel. Now by this time we were ready to head back home convinced we had been scammed. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to resolve our issues. We were informed that many properties were on hotel grounds but managed privately. Without a room number the task seemed impossible. The manager took time out to walk the property to find the room that was pictured on my phone. Within 30min we had a room number and key pad code to enjoy our three day stay. We cannot thank the three ladies on duty around 3:00 on the 16th of February their professionalism should be rewarded by VRBO.The room had a few minor issues noises ,drafts and twice the price according to other guest staying at same property. Our host texted instructions and did apologize for the traumatic experience after we finally made contact.

Wonderful Getaway!

The pier was great! We want to go back in warmer weather when the fish are biting. Only two minor problems: didn’t know how to put new lights in main room and could not get regular TV channels on TV after rereading instructions and trying many times.

The condo/ hotel is right on the water but this unit faces the parking lot which I didn’t realize from the description, however it met our needs. The pool, hot tub, and bay were beautiful and inviting!

Rockport fishing getaway

Pro’s - room is part of older, yet well-maintained property, clean, free parking, easy to access room, good for older/persons with disability, amenities of nice pool/jacuzzi/BBQ picnic area/prime location across the street from bay/clean, private fishing pier plus very friendly staff. Con’s - know what you’re renting, although property is a condo, this particular accommodation is a hotel room with a few perks ie microwave/large size mini fridge/paper products/plasticware/coffee/tea/ cups/wine glasses. We booked Sunday-Friday, in my mind I thought I could work from the room while hubby/son fished & played, but what I didn’t account for was 2 bad, stuck-inside weather days .....it was definitely a test of whether or not we could live in a tiny home... no!! The jacuzzi was not working upon arrival, promised repair scheduled for Monday happened on Wednesday. We also had a noise in the room coming from the wall which woke us up Tuesday about 4am and continued on/off until our checkout Friday morning, maintenance did come out but that was an inconvenience as well ... we had 3 people from the office in our room at one point assessing the issue, not pandemic friendly. Thursday our last day was better weather so we drove to Port Aransas to enjoy the beach (FYI - Rockport beach does not allow dogs) and to get some fresh air, also to allow access to the room for possible repairs - I have no idea if anyone came to check the issue. I received an apology for the inconvenience from the owner. All in all, WE made the best of our stay.

We are a fishing pair that loves to travel and host travelers. We enjoy getting away from work for a few days every chance we get to do some fishing and relaxing. Rockport was always our go to place, so we decided to purchase a place that we could enjoy as well as offer to others.

Why they chose this property

This condo is perfect for a fishing get away and some relaxation time. The Rockport area is great for family vacations, generally a quiet area. The condo offers all the amenities we enjoy; fishing pier, beach, seafood restaurants close by, clean pool and hot tub. The management staff are very nice and helpful. We feel very welcome and happy when we're staying at the condo.

What makes this property unique

This condo is just the right size for a couple or small family. The floors are tiled, so we don't have to worry about messing up carpets. The unit is kept clean by the housekeeping staff. We love the fishing at the private pier. We have caught redfish, black drum and lots of sand trout.
