Property was clean, warm and welcoming.
Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked.
Property manager was welcoming, and readily available.
Location was well placed for our planed activities (hunting and trout fishing), having the Big horn mountains as our view is something I would not have expected.
Wonderful old-school cabin feel!! Immaculate and great view!! The first morning, a doe and her twin fawns were right outside the window. We were only there 2 nights...wish it had been longer!
On my third stay at Doubletree, I again enjoyed the beauty of the ranch, the serenity and uniqueness of the Bighorns, and the cabin/deck and grounds call me back again. I go to Buffalo each day and then the mountains, Sheridan and crazy woman canyon, and hiking trails up top. Thank you Larry and Cheryl!

About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Gerard
My husband and I are Wyoming natives and have lived in Buffalo, Wyoming for the past 40 years. We moved to DoubleTree Ranch in 1994 and in 2016 acquired DoubleTree Cabin. We have spent 3 years restoring, updating and maintaining this property and truly love the location, the quiet of the country, the starry night skies and the beautiful views.
Why they chose this property
This property is close to town, but affords all who stay here the solitude and contentment of being in the country.
What makes this property unique
Hayfields to the East and North, cattle pasture to the South, gorgeous views of the Big Horn Mountains to the east. This is truly a paradise. White Tail and Mule Deer often wander by. Lots of birds live here and small wildlife are abundant. Water fowl use nearby pond habitat. A wonderful walking trail is adjacent to the county road only 1/2 mile up the road from DoubleTree Cabin.
