About this property
Private Island, Ocean Front, Aspotogan Peninsula, South Shore Nova Scotia
Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of your private four-bedroom house perched by the ocean's edge. As the eastern-facing side of the house greets the ocean, you'll witness breathtaking sunrises accompanying your morning coffee or refreshing mojito on the deck.
From the deck, gaze across the sprawling lawn, where the magnificent St. Margarets Bay unfolds before your eyes. On the horizon, the picturesque Shut-in Island and Hacketts Cove create a mesmerizing backdrop.
With just eight properties on the island, solitude, seclusion, and privacy are yours to embrace, ensuring an uninterrupted escape from the world.
Please note that if you plan to extend your stay beyond 27 days, kindly inquire about the specific regulations in my province, as regulations change after 28 days.
To maintain a harmonious environment, I request that all guests respect my policy regarding unregistered visitors.
When booking, the guest numbers must include every person in your group. To clarify, a baby is a person, a toddler is a person, and a child is a person. If the person is over two years of age, I charge an extra guest fee of $47 per/night.
Bringing unregistered guests, even for the day, can lead to unnecessary complications, an unpleasant experience, additional fees, or, in all likelihood, immediate booking cancellation without a refund. As I reside across the road, attempts to circumvent this policy are futile—honesty is always appreciated.
For everyone's peace of mind, I conduct a comprehensive video recording of the entire property, inside and out, before your check-in. This time-stamped footage safeguards both guests and the owner in the unlikely event of any damages.
Lastly, please be aware that the government mandates that you include the HST tax in your stay. We apologize for any inconvenience this requirement causes.
Don't worry, you will have a spectacular time here. If you have any questions, you can call or text me at (902)452-5469, email me at theredroof@kiwiblast.com or visit https://holidaynovascotia.com/redroof
Paid amenities - laundry service ($10 a load) and high-speed wifi ($10 per day).
Trust me, you will discover Tranquility and Natural Beauty at The Red Roof; it is the Perfect Getaway in Nova Scotia.

Born and raised in New Zealand. I joined the NZ navy. This ended up being the catalyst to my eventual move to Canada after meeting a local girl when I was 19.
Many years on and a few careers later, we are now married, with 2 young kids.
We like to relax and enjoy the ocean and island life.
We are High-Performance Life Coaches, we love coffee, and live a healthy lifestyle.

Why they chose this property
When you get here, you will understand why we wanted to purchase this property. It's on an island; there are only 8 properties on the island connected by a bridge. It's peaceful. The ocean storms are spectacular, but on the flip side, the ocean is also so calm. It's raw.
The perfect place to escape, but not so far away that you are totally disconnected.

What makes this property unique
Beautifully quiet. It's a hideaway only the locals know about. Great spots to walk. easy to hideaway, isolate, and lose yourself to the ocean and the trees.
