This Gite de Charme is very luxurious and tastefully decorated, surrounded by a landscaped garden with terraces with a beautiful view over the rolling hills of the Morvan-Sud. Very quiet.

Rustig gelegen huis met veel privacy en ruimte

Wij hebben genoten van het ruime huis en de praktische keuken. Ook de verschillende zitjes buiten met schaduw vonden we fijn. Aandachtspunten: Er is geen bakker meer in het dorp. In een van de slaapkamers rook het erg muf. Er was geen gebruiksaanwijzing voor de magnetronoven, waardoor wij hem niet konden gebruiken. Er waren erg veel losse snoeren in huis en de waren niet overal veilig neergelegd.

Tolles Ferienhaus in Chiddes

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, das Haus gemĂŒtlich, toll, geschmackvoll. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Doch leider gibt es auch etliche MĂ€ngel: der Internetauftritt stimmt nicht mehr, die , als "fußlĂ€ufig erreichbare" angekĂŒndigte Boulangerie und der Carrefour existieren wohl schon lange nicht mehr. Die Dachfenster im oberen Stock sind völlig verdreckt und vermoost. Der zweistöckige Steinbau-Teil ist komplett zugewachsen, so dass man keine Fenster öffnen kann. Im (schönen) Garten verrotten die Holzmöbel, die wohl mehrere Winter im Freien verbracht haben, ebenso die (nur noch als Gerippe vorhandenen) Sonnenschirme, d. h. es gab keine. In der KĂŒche fehlen rudimentĂ€re Dinge: es gibt nur eine Bratpfanne, kein Salatbesteck, Mixer etc., dagegen ist Geschirr ĂŒberreichlich vorhanden. Der Backofen wurde durch ein unbenutzbares High-Tech-GerĂ€t ohne brauchbare Bedienungsanleitung ersetzt, das noch unbenutzt war (hat sich keiner rangetraut!) und in dem man nicht mal ein Baguette aufbacken kann. Der W-lan-Code wurde nur durch Zufall in einer Schublade voller Bedienungsanleitungen gefunden, der Fernseher war nicht zum laufen zu bringen. Trotzdem hat es uns gefallen, aber es ist traurig, dass das GrundstĂŒck und die Gartenmöbel nicht in Schuss gehalten werden. Es ist so ein wunderbares Haus.

Tolle Lage, Haus weist sehr viele MĂ€ngel auf

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön, war aber nur mit der vereinten UnterstĂŒtzung der sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Nachbarn zu finden, da die Anfahrtsbeschreibung sehr ungenau war. Das GebĂ€ude besitzt Charme, ist aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise renovierungsbedĂŒrftig.( Bspw. waren sĂ€mtliche Toilettensitze locker und rutschten hin und her, außerdem Schimmelflecken an der Decke in einem Schlafzimmer im OG.Der hintere Teil des Untergeschoss roch muffig und unangenehm, und war darum nicht gerade einladend.) Nach einem Gewitter war die Hauptsicherung ausgeschaltet, danach funktionierte die Technik nur noch mangelhaft: Die Fußbodenheitzung schaltete sich auf höchste Stufe ein und ließ sich nicht mehr herunterregeln. Zu allem Überfluss kamen auch noch Bettwanzen hinzu, fĂŒr das die Anbieter nicht unbedingt etwas können. FĂŒr uns war jedoch die Urlaubsstimmung im Keller, sodass wir eine Woche frĂŒher wie geplant zurĂŒckfuhren. Das war sehr Ă€rgerlich.

Schöner Urlaub möglich

Aufgrund der QualitĂ€t des GrundstĂŒcks, des Hauses und eines unkomplizierten Kontakts zum Vermieter ist ein schöner Urlaub möglich. Allerdings sind einige Instandhaltungs- und Pflegeaufwendungen notwendig, um den aufkommenden Eindruck das die besten Zeiten des Objekts einige Jahre zurĂŒckliegen zukĂŒnftig zu vermeiden. Die ruhige Lage und der schöne Ausblick haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir den Aufenthalt insgesamt schön gefunden haben.

Gorgeous country setting and views

Beautiful gardens and unobstructed views of pasture and hills. Beautifully furnished country house surrounded by gravel patios with several indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Good shower, bathtub, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Lovely, quiet rural setting. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Town of Luzy is a short drive for groceries, post office, a restaurant, and hair salon. Each bedroom has a bathroom plus there is a toilet at the upstairs landing. Interior felt a bit run down and the third bedroom/attic/nursery was full of insects (caterpillars, bees,
). But overall we very much enjoyed our two weeks in this amazing location. Beauty and peace in and out. A dream spot and a good value. Merci!

Entspannung pur

Man kann den vorherigen Kommentaren kaum etwas hinzufĂŒgen. Selten haben wir so eine ruhige und entspannende Unterkunft mit so vielen Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten im großen, grĂŒnen Garten vorgefunden wie hier. Er fĂŒgt sich ganz wunderbar in die umliegende Landschaft mit ihren grĂŒnen Wiesen, Weiden und WĂ€ldern ein. Unsere EinkĂ€ufe haben wir in Luzy getĂ€tigt und die interessanten TagesausflĂŒge gingen in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Deutsches Fernsehen gibt es ĂŒbrigens auch und der Internetempfang war auch gut. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur weiter empfehlen.

Der ideale Ort zum Entspannen

Um mit dem grĂ¶ĂŸten Pluspunkt anzufangen: Das Haus steht auf einem traumhaften GrundstĂŒck, auf dem man zu jeder Tageszeit Sonne oder Schatten findet, wie man will. Viele SitzplĂ€tze erlauben immer wieder neue Perspektiven auf das Haus oder in die wunderbare Landschaft. Absolut ruhig, wenn nicht gerade die KĂŒhe muhen. Das Haus selber ist großzĂŒgig und gut ausgestattet, z.T. mit hochwertigem Mobiliar. Leider ist es technisch nicht mehr so richtig gut in Schuss und könnte ein Update vertragen. Wir haben uns aber sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und können uns gut vorstellen, wenn uns wieder nach einem Urlaub ist, in dem es nur um Entspannung und Erholung geht, wiederzukommen.

In the heart of nature

The nature, the biodiversity, the quietness, the wideness around the house are breath-taking. Extraordinary features of the house are the natural building materials, the cosy living room with fireplace, and – for music talented visitors – the grand piano. Specials on the property are the old trees, and the many spots to sit, drink, and dine. Thinking about suggestions of improvement, the kitchen and bathrooms would need a little uplift, and in face of hot summers and the necessary ventilation the bedroom windows need insect screens. In total we had a gorgeous week!

Charmantes Landhaus im Morvan

Charmantes altes Landhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage, schön eingerichtet, mit vielen SitzplĂ€tzen im Garten. Sogar ein FlĂŒgel ist vorhanden. Ideal um die Gegend mit dem Rad zu erkunden, da kaum Verkehr ist. Schöne StĂ€dte wie Autun, Beaune, Moulins sowie Chalon-sur-SaĂŽne gut mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Ein wunderschönes einzeln stehendes Steinhaus. Sehr still und fast einsam. Ein Anwesen zum Relaxen und Ferien machen, guter Standort zu Morvan-Touren. Viel Platz und Geschmack in der Einrichtung, feine Möbel. In den vergangenen Bewertungen gab es Kritik an der Sauberkeit, ein wenig muss ich mich dem anschließen , ohne ins Detail zu gehen. Kaputte Heizkörper, die nicht regelbar waren, taten das ihre, bei Minustemperaturen draußen war es schwierig, angenehm zu heizen. Trotzdem ein tolles Haus, das nach einer Renovierung (Stromkabel etc. ) wieder zum Glanz erstrahlen könnte. Aber tatsĂ€chlich haben wir uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt!

heel aangenaam, super praktisch huis

Wij hebben genoten van het kleine dorp Chiddes, en ondanks andere opmerkingen vonden wij het een prima beginpunt voor onze wandelingen. Uiteraard is het de moeite waard om soms de auto in te stoppen om de omgevening ook nog eens beter te zien. Een prima restaurant op loopafstand. Wat het huis zelf betreft is het stijlvol ingericht met goede meubels, genoeg buiten zitplekken, een houtkachel, en alles in de keuken wat je nodig hebt. Wij komen wel terug als we de kans krijgen!

Un silence d‘or

Nous avons passĂ© une trĂšs bonne semaines Ă  Chiddes. Que du calme, des papillons, des lĂ©zards, une voiture ou un tracteur peut-ĂȘtre deux fois dans l‘heure! En plus, du soleil presque toute la semaine. Deux petits bĂ©mols: surtout bien se renseigner sur le jour de ramassage des ordures & Ă  quelle heure au plus tard on peut quitter la maison. Pour nous sur Abritel, il Ă©tait Ă©crit 11 heures, pour le personnel de nettoyage, câ€˜Ă©tait 10 heures. Ça a donnĂ© de petits frottements, bien sĂ»r. Un goĂ»t amer pour les derniĂšres minutes, dommage.

Tolle Lage, schönes Haus mit kleinen Abstrichen ...

Das Haus befindet sich direkt außerhalb des Dörfchens Chiddes. Obwohl es an einer kleinen Strasse liegt war es ausgesprochen ruhig. Der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies, es gibt unzĂ€hlige SitzplĂ€tze und Ecken fĂŒr jede Wetterlage. Leider haben uns die Inneneinrichtung und die Sauberkeit nicht ĂŒberzeugt. Insbesondere die KĂŒche war nicht gut gereinigt, viele Kochutensilien bereits beschĂ€digt (bspw. die Kaffeekanne der Kaffeemaschine). Zudem stießen wir bei der Suche nach einer Kaffeekanne auf 2 Kannen in denen noch FlĂŒssigkeit vorhanden war, die bereits schimmelte. Dem Interieur wĂŒrde an vielen Stellen eine Auffrischung nicht schaden. Alles in allem dennoch ein schöner Urlaub ...

Un séjour reposant

Belle maison spacieuse et confortable mais qui nĂ©cessiterait un coup de rafraĂźchissement intĂ©rieur et d’entretien extĂ©rieur. Les photos qui illustrent l’annonce devant sans doute remonter Ă  une dizaine d’annĂ©es. La vĂ©gĂ©tations Ă  beaucoup poussĂ©e et envahie certaines fenĂȘtres. Petite alerte sur la propretĂ©. (Tiroirs Ă  couverts avec des miettes, vaisselle dĂ©pareillĂ©e, local stockage oĂč la machine Ă  laver est stockĂ©e, fauteuils et canapĂ©s en tissus tachĂ©s, coussins des chaises longues et des fauteuils avec toiles d’araignĂ©es. Semaine reposante dans une belle rĂ©gion et une maison spacieuse et cependant agrĂ©able.

Mooi sfeervol vakantiehuis op mooie plek

Heerlijk rustige omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de tuin. In de directe omgeving is weinig te bezoeken of te doen. Alleen de stad Autun en het site/museum van Biberacte zij met een half uurtje te bereiken.

Haus mit Charme

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und wir haben sehr den Garten und das Haus genossen. Am Anreisetag wurden wir freundlich empfangen und das Haus wurde uns mit all seinen kleinen Kniffen erklĂ€rt. Da es sehr heiß war (37 Grad) haben wir bis zum Mittag den Schatten im Garten genossen und sind dann zu den verschiedenen Seen in der Umgebung aufgebrochen. Uns hat in dem sehr gut eingerichteten Haus nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Formidable !!!!!

Supergezellig cottages met prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras, aan de rand maar toch dichtbij het dorpscentrum. Bar Restaurant New Montcharlet met supervriendelijke uitbater Daniëlo is een aanrader voor een pintje na een uitstapje en de menukaart mag er zeker zijn! Veel excursiemogelijkheden en wandelmogelijkheden in de nabije omgeving. Natuur, rust, landschap..... gewoon prachtig. De cottages is een absolute aanrader !

Rust in wonderschoon landschap

Een heerlijk verblijf in een gerieflijk huis met goede voorzieningen. Het landschap is erg mooi, de wegen goed. Pluspunt is de satelliet tv.
