Nice quiet residential neighborhood. 1 block away (approx. 0.1 mile) from one of the few remaining family owned grocery stores. Mason Brothers Red Owl is a great place to stop and pick up what you'll need during your stay. From groceries to FRIDAY FISH FRY, beer, liquor, and tobacco, you can find just about anything you need there. Open from 8am to 8pm Monday thru Sunday. Also open most holidays with limited hours. There is a park close by on Gross Ave called Marquette Park (approx. 0.7 miles) with a kiddie pool and playground equipment.
