Quiet, safe, close to the water (Galveston Bay), 6 blocks from Sylvan Beach, lots of hiking trails and parks around, historic city, lots of of antique shops, 5 min from the freeway, 1/2 hr from Houston, close to Pasadena, Texas, 15 min from Kemah Boardwalk and 5 min. from Barbours Cut Terminal (a major deep water port in the Greater Houston area)A few blocks from home - Sylvan Beach, La Porte,TX ❤️ Nice place to walk or watch the sunrise. Not permitted to stay in the water after dark, but you can stay in the park.
