Maui Getaway

We booked a last minute vacation to Maui. Our stay at the Maui Kai was awesome. The views from our Lanai were impeccable, we could see whales breaching the water and seals on the beach.

Beautiful beachfront condo!

The condo was a perfect base for our week in Maui. We were able to watch the sunrise each morning from the lenai and often spotted sea turtles swimming by the shore. This small condo is perfect for couples and even has a small beach next door.

Anniversary trip

The location was exactly as advertised. Very clean, modern, and right over the ocean. No complaints. Would recommend to friends and family. Comes with beach gear so no need to purchase coolers or chairs. Very nice!! Will stay again!!

Amazing location and view!

After missing one sunset and watching it from Whaler’s Village we made sure we were at the condo for every other night. What a spectacular place to watch the sun go down!

Beautiful view - whale watching

Great stay at this condo, enjoyed the peaceful feel of this calm establishment! Everything was perfect for our Mother Daughter annual vacation! Had a couple things come up and Tom and his wife were very responsive, hope to go back next year!

Unit is in an amazing location and view is unbeatable. Overall clean and well kept. Did not get the check in email with the code which caused some chaos. Shower drain was fairly clogged and drained very slow.

Great location

We had a great stay over Christmas week. The views are incredible, and we were able to sit on the lanai and whale watch for hours each day. We had a few issues at check in after a long travel day, but Tom answered our call (on Christmas Day) and took care of it quickly. There was plenty of parking, several restaurants within walking distance and the quiet pool was a great place to unwind after mornings full of activities out on the island.

Greatest view

We enjoyed eating meals at the lanai/ balcony above water and having access to the beach right downstairs. Really appreciated finding the snorkel sets so we didn’t need to rent. I would come back and stay here again. A/C could be stronger and sliding door made easier to open.

Beautiful view!!

View and location on water was great! We were able to see turtles and manta rays from lanai. And the sunsets were gorgeous We were disappointed though with the very offensive odor in the bathroom. And the stay instructions indicated the window needed to stay closed due to ac it was definitely unpleasant

Spectacular Views Great location

As listed this property has amazing views of the ocean and whales. Property was clean and well maintained. Pool and hot tub were very clean as well. Good location fir morning walks on boardwalk. Could use some extra containers ( ziplock ) for storage of things in fridge ( ie pineapple, fruit etc) Overall you will not be disappointed with this rental it is perfect for a couple to stay. Mahalo

Great ocean views from the property!

We very much enjoyed stay at this Penthouse condo! The views from the 10th floor were awesome! Having the telescope in the condo was very much appreciated as my son used it to look at Jupiter and its moon in the sky at night! And also we could see humpback whales right from our balcony and using the telescope! The swimming and snorkeling gear in the condo was quit handy. Thanks.

Loved the views, but not happy about staying 10 days and had no cleaning and only 4 bath towels for 4 people, ran out of toilet paper, lights and fans did not work some of the time, and the tv remote kept going out. Also the beach is completely gone at this condo building you have to walk to other locations to sit at the beach.

Amazing top floor condo in Maui

This place was perfect for my wife and I. We loved the top floor condo with amazing views. Nothing better to wake up to an ocean view while vacationing. The condo was perfect for relaxing, cooking and had all the amenities. The unit is top floor and on the side so you have views both ways. Nicely updated, hardwood floors, newer appliances and windows all around. The building was great; had a BBQ, pool area with full kitchen, and hot tub. Wasn't too crowded like the big resort but your could walk to Dukes or nearby beaches in minutes. Would definitely recommend this condo and will be coming back as often as possible. Thank you!

We have owned units in the building since the 1970's. The building is practically in the water. The apartment looks directly out at the islands of Molokai and Lanai.

Why they chose this property

This is the closest building to the ocean in all of Hawaii. It is practically in the water and has the best views of Molokai and Lanai. It boasts the best Whale watching on Maui.
