Great house, location, hosts. Outdoor fires by the creek were beautiful and peaceful. House was exactly as depicted, hosts left terrific welcome gift and alerted us to the best place to park due to falling walnuts. Very thoughtful. Will certainly book again.
We are in love with this place! This is my second time staying Within six weeks. I will certainly be coming back. The accommodations are perfect absolutely beautiful, friendly host, beautiful views.
This precious cottage is located in a beautiful area and super easy to get to it. I loved going through a covered bridge to arrive at the cottage. So cute!! We really enjoyed having porches with swings and rockers off the front and back of the cottage. And, there are even more wonderful seating areas next to the creek. The owner also supplied firewood for the fire pit. It was a terrific getaway to the mountains and a restful place to stay.
Wonderful Place and Amazing people!!
Everything was amazing. The creek and outside fire pit was the pinnacle of our trip. Nobody wanted to leave because of the peaceful atmosphere. The owners were super people. I will absolutely plan another stay asap.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well equipped with everything we needed and even used the charcoal grill one night for steaks. The home is easily situated to Bryson City and Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. The sound of the nearby creek is so relaxing! Would easily come here again. Thank you!
The cottage was a wonderful base for exploring the area. The accommodation was perfect for us. We loved relaxing on the rocking chairs on the front porch listening to the water flow by after a long day of driving. Checking in and out was super easy and the owners kindly supplied fresh eggs, grape jelly and some of the biggest tomatoes I have ever seen. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our visit. The owner provided fresh eggs and blackberry jam for our visit. Cozy cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a creek flowing alongside the house. Porches on front and back and a covered bridge made the setting special. Fall leaves falling all around while we were there.
Third time staying here. Enjoyed the town’s annual Harvest Festival this time, which was literally next door to the property. As always, the owners were easy to work with and very accommodating. Everything you need from porch rocking chairs, grill, fire pit, a babbling creek along side the property with lots of activities around the area. We hiked Yellow Creek Falls near by, beautiful waterfall. Until next time….
We stayed here for Miata’s at the Gap and missed several events because we couldn’t pull ourselves away from the porch swing. This was the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The owners are perfect. Fresh eggs and jam. Fresh tomatoes. We would love to come back for no reason and just chill.
The property was just as expected from the website. Very nice, clean cottage right off the main road. Owner was super nice and had us fresh eggs, homemade grape jelly, and homegrown tomatoes upon arrival. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting the mountain experience without the town noise and traffic. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This cute little 2 bedroom cottage is a on a quiet back right next to a soothing creek. The beautiful covered bridge gets you to the property. It was very nicely decorated for our October stay. There are rocking chairs on the front and back porch. So relaxing to rock and listen to the creek flowing by. The decor takes you back in time and is in very good condition. Both beds were comfy and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Phyllis had a dozen eggs, fresh tomatoes from her garden and a jar of homemade grape jam waiting for us. The cottage was close to Tsali and we mountain biked 2 days. We went to Cherokee and went horseback riding at Smokemont Riding Stables and then spent a day hiking in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. This cottage was is the perfect place for our activities and peaceful to be in when we returned. The local Stecoah Diner had delicious meals and is close by also. We would stay here again if we are in the area
When you step inside this precious cottage, you are taken back in time with the decor. Great location, privacy, country feel and in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. You get to relax on the back porch in rocking chairs while listening to the sounds of the soothing creek beside the property. With all the amenities you'll need, even a grill! We felt safe and snug in this cottage nettled around all the mountains and we will definitely come back. The owners are great to work with as well.
My Dad and I visited for a car event in deals gap and this place worked out perfectly. The house was clean and comfortable. The owner of the property introduced himself and was very nice. The creak next to the house was relaxing to listen to as we sat on the back porch.
