We have cultivated what we feel will be the most all-inclusive Door County stay one could ask for; ideal waterfront prime for swimming and fishing, included kayaks for guest use, a gas fireplace utilized by the flip of a switch, outdoor waterfront fire pit, outdoor furniture, interior touches that enhance your Door County vacation, and every creature comfort of home. Our property is located a mere 15 miles south of Sturgeon Bay allowing you the peace and tranquility only a property with this location can offer, while allowing for endless adventures travelling further North up the peninsula.

*DISCLAIMER: Our pier was recently damaged and swept away in a large storm so there is no longer a pier. We do, however, have a concrete seawall at waters edge that allows for great waterfront access. The cottage is located in a more remote waterfront location and as such, our internet may experience intermittent spottiness. We have invested substantial resources in an attempt to improve the internet quality by switching providers and adding signal boosting equipment within the cottage. Also to note, the cottage utilizes a well and some guests may have an aversion to the hard water. The water is safe to drink but as an added convenience to our guests we provide filtered Culligan drinking water.

Beautiful setting!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the waterfront! The fire pit was an added bonus. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The owners were very accommodating in working with us with a difficult situation! Much appreciated!

Tranquil water

Easy access. Right on the water, which was warm enough to swim in. Kayaks available along with floaties. Not too far from Sturgeon Bay and its restaurants. Host also was accommodating. Great stay overall.

Great stay

Very nice property. Clean cozy and comfortable. Quiet neighohood. Clear view of the sunset on the bay with a nice fire. Stocked well had everything we needed. 20 minutes to srurgeon bay. And had several nice resturuants and resorts nearby. One hour and 20 to the washington island ferry. Worked great for us.

Bayhouse Stay

Our 50th birthday girls trip had a great stay at this house. It was very clean & had plenty of room- the beds were very comfortable! The view & sound of the water rolling in was very relaxing. We loved the large fire pit & appreciated how easy the owners were to work with. Would love to go back again!

Everything was super cute inside and the views outside were unbeatable. After reading other reviews, we were super conscious of our water use (arguably too much so) and didn't run into any issues. Already keeping this place in mind for future trips!

I grew up in Sturgeon Bay, spending my most formidable years exploring everything great about Door County. My wife and I feel fortunate to be able to offer our little slice of waterfront luxury for all to enjoy. Everything we find so special and unique about lake living, we feel everyone should be able to embrace; even if for just a weekend. This cottage will hopefully instill in you what we have always so dearly cherished when it comes to waterfront bliss.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I spent years searching for the perfect Door County cottage that embodied more than just a home, but exuded a certain character. This 3 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, newly renovated cottage fits that to a T! We have worked extremely hard to cultivate an experience that emulates everything we find so very special about lake living. We hope you are able to settle in to the waterfront lifestyle we think everyone so greatly deserves to experience.
