Our lodge is located nestled in between the Nantahala national forest and the Appalachian trail on Lake Nantahala and with our pontoon boat rental option, you can take the whole group out on the lake for the whole day or spend the whole week exploring the waterfalls,fishing holes or rafting on the nantahala river. Our lodge features two spacious master suites with its own romantic fireplace. Enjoy our brand new dock and rolling walkway. Our pontoon boat will be available for rentals starting in April and going thru the summer. With five bedrooms and 3 full baths and 2-1/2 baths, the Lakeside Lodge features amenities like hot tub, multiple fireplaces, private dock, 3 separate decks overlooking the lake and mountains, 2 of them are covered in case it rains. The Lakeside Lodge can sleep 12 to 14 depending on your groups makeup..

Enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Nantahala from the wraparound deck, or enjoy a roaring fire in front of the fireplace. The Lakeside lodge is furnished with a luxurious rustic decor that will make you feel like never returning to the stress of city life.

You can rent our Pontoon Boat or bring your own boat! Enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing!

Our stay at this beautiful Lake house on Nantahala Lake was absolutely awesome . The home was spotless, cozy, and comfortable filled with everything we needed in our vacation . One of the highlights of our trip was spending time swimming and boating at the lake. The crystal water was an unforgettable experience, we were surrounded by the stunning NC mountains the slopes covered in layer of rich greens leaves.Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning by the water make my trip very especial . This was more than a vacation, it was a place were we relaxed , reconnected with nature . We left feeling refreshed and grateful and we are looking forward to coming back to this beautiful Lake house we highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a peaceful escape . The host was wonderful making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived . Five start without hesitation.!!!!!!

Our visit was quite and peacefull celebrating our Anniversary going to Highlands to visit waterfalls and antiquing , then bryson city to hit the shops that were lit up for christmas , the cabin was clean and cozy cant wait to come back with all the family, thank you for the memories

The owner was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had, and the view of Lake Nantahala from the porch is absolutely beautiful. The house is also very large and has two lovely master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.That said, we were disappointed with the condition of the three bedrooms on the main level. Our bedroom had a queen bed and a daybed, but no bedside tables, no dresser, and no bedside lamp. The only lighting was a ceiling fan with five exposed bulbs. The carpeting throughout the house is old and worn, and the bedrooms were very dark. Overall, the house felt dusty and in need of a thorough deep cleaning and some general upkeep.The house has a wonderful setting, but the condition of the property did not feel consistent with the approximately 500-per-night price we paid. The two master bedrooms were very nice, but even those would benefit from replacing the old carpeting and some updating.For anyone traveling with dogs, there is also very little safe space to walk them. The only option is along the side of the road, where there is very little room when a car approaches—you are essentially against the mountain on one side or close to the edge of a drop-off on the other.We were also surprised that there is no trash pickup at the house. Guests are expected to put their trash in their vehicles and drive it to a dump. At this price point, we would expect trash removal to be included with the cleaning service.

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin in Topton, NC. The place is spotless, cozy, had high speed internet and perfectly tucked away in the mountains — the ideal spot to relax and unwind. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The cabin had everything I needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to super comfortable beds and a peaceful porch to enjoy my morning coffee.Whether you’re looking to hike, fish, or just enjoy some quiet time in nature, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back!

House was much bigger than the pictures showed on the listing. Lots of steps inside and out but overall a great place for a big group. The downstairs master bedroom was absolutely beautiful with a great view of the lake and a balcony. Recommend for anyone who doesn’t have mobility issues. Loved it !

Our family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin in a gated community! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring and enjoying the very beautiful and quiet lake. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. We especially appreciated being able to include usage of the grill and more so the pontoon boat. We highly recommend this property and will definitely book it again!

Amazingly beautiful lake front house

We had an amazing time with family. The house had everything we needed for a baby and toddlers. Plenty of room for a large family. We also rented the pontoon boat and ventured out on the most beautiful lake! The cool water was enjoyed by the kids and well as most of us adults! Would recommend to any family for a good timed in the mountains!

The lake setting is so beautiful it almost seems unreal. The house has such a great view, the dock is perfect for swimming and the boat was fun! Would definitely come again!

Beautiful house…over all it was enjoyable. A couple of notes - The lake was down quite a bit. The hot tub was damaged, and the stairs down to the water were fairly sketchy… the pontoon boat took a good bit of parking area. Lighting to the door could be SIGNIFICANTLY improved, and the steps leading to the deck/door (only way into the house) were very treacherous and slippery - some steps even rotted away entirely

Stairway to Heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. This is our third year vacationing on Nantahala Lake and have tried to stay in different places—this is one of our favorites!From playing in the jacuzzi to tubing on the lake, playing pool to foosball, and relaxing on the multi-level balconies and theater room—it was all so much fun. We dubbed this place the Stairway to Heaven because we counted approximately 222 stairs from the top room to the boat dock—great workout and great fun!

Great home with plenty of room. Great view overlooking the lake.

This was our first annual immediate family reunion. The house was beautiful with wood decor and a great view of the lake. It was roomy and slept 12 comfortably and is pet friendly! The only comment I would have is that the access to the dock needs work - you had to walk across a loose 2x6 to get from the steps the the dock.

Nice relaxing and adventurous visit

Nice lodge with plenty of rooms on beautiful lake. Nice place to relax after two days on the Nantahala river. Wish it had WiFi. Also having to drive several miles to dump trash. Why can’t maids take out the trash?
