Upstairs, Hope Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a King size double bed and the other with two single beds. A full size family bathroom with a bath and shower.
Downstairs. a lounge with TV and a selection of DVD's, a separate dining area for 4 people and a fitted kitchen. (including a dishwasher, fridge etc.)
Outside, a small private courtyard gives you an area to relax and have a drink or meal in the fresh air. (weather permitting!)

A charming place to stay in a perfectly charming village!

My granddaughter and I visited Woodstock from the states and had a glorious time. Everything about Hope Cottage was ideal for us. We loved walking around the village, visiting the palace, and the ease of taking the bus to Oxford and other nearby towns. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience village life.

What a lovely time!

We had a fantastic week at Hope Cottage! Allan received us personally and everything went nicely, smoothly and completely uncomplicated. This is exactly how a holiday should start. Everything about the cottage is extremely adorable; your decor is modern and functional and yet you can feel the charm of the centuries. The location is also excellent: parking, pubs and a well-stocked supermarket are all in the immediate vicinity. I think I don't need to report anything about the beautiful Woodstock itself here, whoever comes here knows why he does it. Or he discovers the place for himself and comes back with joy ... like we did :-) And we would love to come back to Hope Cottage again!

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage, very clean & well equipped. Handy, free parking just around the corner. Very convenient for shops, pubs, cafes etc in Woodstock. It was lovely to have Blenheim Palace on the doorstep, convert your entrance ticket to a yearly pass and there are lots of lovely walks in the grounds. It was good to meet the owner Allan on arrival, nice personal touch and he gave us lots of useful local information. Many thanks for the wine, beer & eggs. If you enjoy Indian food Daba restaurant & takeaway is really good. We also liked Brothertons Brassiere & Blenheim Buttery. It was lovely to sit in the sunny courtyard at the rear of the property for breakfast & teatime drinks, very peaceful.
