About this property

House between lake and ocean in Carcans-Maubuisson

Wooden house, furnished comfort welcomes you in one of the most preserved sites of Médoc Océan and the town of Carcans.
In the middle of pines and mimosas, very quiet, 3 kilometers from the ocean and less than 1km from the lake, you can reach this rental in one stroke of the pedal, taking the bike path (direct access to our garden ).
Ideal for a family with children or 2 couples thanks to its 3 bedrooms, one with its bunk bed.
An umbrella bed with mattress is available for free upon request as well as beach towels.
The large enclosed garden of about 700m2 with its terrace and its small pool of 3 / 3m are perfect for spending friendly moments.
Sports and leisure activities are very numerous around: surfing, body boarding, kite surfing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, pedal boating, catamaran, and many more.
The area of Bombannes hosting all sports activities offered by the UCPA is located about 3 km from the house.
Possibility of putting some bicycles at your disposal.
A deposit of 500 € (not cashed) will be requested upon arrival.

Wonderful stay in Carcans-Maubuisson

We had a great week in mid-June staying here with our two sons, aged 3 and 4 years. The house was perfect, with the boys loving sleeping in the bunk beds. The sliding gate to block off the pool area made it very secure with toddlers around, even though the pool is just outside the kitchen. The location is fabulous, accessible by car on very quiet roads, but also with direct access to car free bike paths from the garden, from which you can ride to the lake or ocean. Friendly welcome and communication from the owners too. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

everything you can wish for

We had a most wonderful time in this charming holiday home. The location is ideal, only short bike rides to the beach and also to the village and the beautiful lake. Bikes were provides and worked fine. The house is cosy, nicely furnished, with everything you can think of you might need. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed cooking and hanging out at the nice dining table on the large porch in the tree shade. The (small) pool is an nice extra luxury, especially on hot days. There is also a very nice sitting area beside the pool, with armchairs and sunloungers, cushions are provided. We really loved the nice and relaxed atmosphere of the neighbourhood and the view from the porch or the hammock into the treetops. And the beach is just amazing! The owners are very sweet, very flexible and responsive. We can most highly recommend this place and hope to come back. Thanks so much, Franck and Ophelie, for everything

Un nid tout confort au milieu des pins!

Très agréable sejour

Le logement est tres bien équipé que ce soit en meuble ou en ustensiles. Tout est de qualité L’emplacement au milieu des pins permet d’être au calme et les vélos prêtés permettent d’être en 5 mn au centre de Maubuisson et du lac. Les propriétaires sont tres agréables. Je recommande cette location.

Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances dans un environnement bucolique entre mer et océan à tout juste 5 minutes du centre ville, la maison est très agréable à vivre. Le petit plus serait une piscine chauffée mais le descriptif de l'annonce mentionnait bien piscine non chauffée. Nous recommandons cette location à tous ceux qui souhaitent passer un bon séjour. Wonderful horlidays

We spend a wonderful time in this lovely house. The situation of the house between lake and ocean is perfect. It is very quiet and you can start your bike tour at the house directly. There is evreything you need in the kitchen, some games for children in- and outdoor and 4 bikes you can use. The bathroom is quite small, only 1 little shower, but its ok. Franck and Ophelie are very kind and helpful, the communication was without any problems or delay. We can recommend the house and may come back. Thanks Franck and Ophelie!!!

Excellent séjour à Carcans Maubuisson dans la pinède

Malgré un temps capricieux, nous avons passé 2 semaines excellentes dans la maison de Franck et Ophélie. La piste cyclable au bout du jardin est le point de départ de belles balades à vélo entre le lac d'Hourtin, Carcans-Plage ou Lacanau, et il y a plein d'activités à faire soit au lac à Maubuisson ou au domaine de Bombannes, ou à l'océan à Carcans-Plage. La maison est très bien équipée, ambiance chaleureuse et cosy, terrasse super agréable. En outre, Franck et Ophélie sont super accueillants, de bon conseil et charmants.
