About this property

Waterfront “State of Mind” vintage home.

Quaint 3 bedroom 2 bath 1960 river house set on 2 acres on the beautiful May River. Stones throw from downtown. Gorgeous views, incredible breeze, quiet, private, historical area. Backs up to an adjacent privately owned 15 acre farm. One level ranch style with three bedrooms. Kitchen and bath updates. New furnishings. Two small bathrooms each with a shower yet also a wonderful outside shower. Elliptical machine if you want some indoor exercise. Foosball table, small basketball court with 2 goals, fire pit, grill, and a horseshoe pit for fun entertainment inside or out! Walkable to downtown, NO dock. Golf cart -4 seater- available for rent upon request. Two day minimum 50.00/day or 300.00/week. Must be 21 or over to drive. Bikes available upon request through PEDALS HH 888-699-1039 if you would rather bike to town for lunch, dinner, or drinks.

A great place to stay. Was roomie and clean and accommodated us well. A great view of the May River that allowed us to watch some amazing fireworks from our home. Anna is an awesome host and met all our needs. Planning to go back again next year.

This house was just as it looked from the photos! I am sad I had to leave that amazing porch. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view and the evening breeze. We saw two dolphins swim by our first morning there. It was so easy to get around and see Bluffton and to go visit HHI. I highly recommend this wonderful stay!

The site is amazing! Truly a dream. The home is older and has its quirks but the location is stunning. We wish the home had the dock as pictured and also the golf cart but honestly it was still absolutely beautiful.

The property was beautiful. The house is some need of updating. Not sure the whole house was cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. Particularly the bathrooms. The master bath sink hardly drained.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It exactly as we expected. The view of the river was wonderful and it was very pet friendly. We especially liked how private it was. It is also in a great neighbourhood to walk your dog. You can walk to the heart of Old Town Bluffton and only spend a couple of minutes on the main road. The bed in the Master bedroom was very comfortable and the family room and dining room were very nice.
