Wonderful stay!

Nice house, comfortable living room, and a wonderfully spacious outdoor area (including the pool) with many cozy spots to sit sheltered from the wind and enjoy the sun. The staff respond very quickly to any issuesquestions. Even when it’s not very warm outside (long live Cyclone Emilia! 😉), the inside is very pleasant. The air conditioning can also be used as heating, and the furniture is comfortable. The welcome package with water, coffee, tea, and cookies is a thoughtful touch. Some deferred maintenance, as mentioned before. Due to the location of Montaña Roja on the west side of the house, the sun disappears a bit earlier than in other places.

Clean, tidy but minor snags that did not affect our overall stay

The villa was fine. Minor things like the headboard was not fixed to the bed, one of the kitchen drawers was loose, electric switches tripped constantly on day 1 and pool heater was not working till day 3. We are not annoyed and these things cannot all be predicted. The staff responded and tried their best.

Fantastic villa, stunning pool, wonderful location, amazing views - but, too many steps to go in!

What a lovely villa - beautiful pool, wonderful views front and back, good facilities and very clean and comfortable. We did have a problem with the 23 steps up to the only entrance to the villa, which caused problems for us two ladies as we both suffer with arthritis and other problems. So getting all our luggage and shopping up to the villa was very difficult. We didn't realise there would be a lot of steps - not sure if it was in the property description or not! The DVD player wasn't working but when we contacted the office they came out and sorted it quite quickly. So many thanks for a lovely holiday.

Großartige Villa mit schöner Aussicht

Die Aufteilung der Räume war top, auch die Einrichtung mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Zwei Badezimmer waren optimal. Es gibt 3 Tische, innen im Küchenbereich, einen auf der Terrasse und einen auf der Veranda am Eingang. Das gibt Abwechslung für den Frühstücksausblick, total schön. Ausstattung top, alles was man braucht ist da. Sogar eine Waschmaschine und Strandtücher. Alles war wunderbar. Man könnte noch ein paar Hinweise zur Mülltrennung nennen.

Vacaciones perfectas

Hemos pasado una semana en esta maravillosa villa. A la casa no le falta detalle, tiene de todo. A nuestra llegada nos dejaron en la cocina una botella de agua, un brick de leche, cafés etc. La temperatura de la piscina es una maravilla, la hemos disfrutado todos los días. Gracias Aridane y Gemma por hacernos sentir como en casa! Repetiremos seguro!! El mobiliario de la terraza (1 de las 4 hamacas estaba rota)

Ein tolles Haus mit Wohlfühlfaktor

In diesem Haus haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Gefreut haben wir uns über das kleine Willkomensgeschenk. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bietet alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Ein kleines Manko war aber die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien, da hätten es ruhig etwas mehr sein können (zb Schneebesen).

Perfect villa

Beautifully designed and equipped villa. Beds were incredibly comfy. There are stunning views of volcanoes in both directions. The outdoor space, including east-facing terrace and poolside, was particularly generous with lots of tables/seating areas/lonugers. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. It's the perfect villa!

Een echte aanrader wanneer je niet in de toeristische drukte wilt zitten.

Prachtige villa met een eigen zwembad, zalig! Rustige ligging. Mooie uitzichten, zowel aan de voor- als de achterkant van de villa. De eigenaars zijn supervriendelijk en reageren onmiddellijk.

The villa was the perfect setting to get away and relax for few days and switch off after a manic year. It's great having some private outdoor space and the pool was a real treat. A car is definitely needed to get around but it's a great spot to able to travel around the island.

Schöne kleine Villa mit eigenem Pool

Die Villa ist wirklich schön etwas ausserhalb von Play Blanca und eigentlich wäre alles perfekt wenn da nicht die vielen Hunde wären im Quartier die bis spät in die Nacht und auch wieder am Morgen früh bellen.

Almost perfect

Nice property and generally well maintained but some things in our view, need attention. Not as the image shown as there were no potted plants and cheaper less visually attractive sun-lounger covers were used but the local representatives reacted swiftly to some of the issues we had like apparently over level pool chloride which caused a rash on 2 of our guests and meant that we could not make the most of the pool. The location is rather out of the town which meant a brisk 40 minute walk as there are no other facilities locally (bars, shops etc) and the general area appears to be rather under-developed and not overly clean although the gated complex was both clean and tidy. We have photos which have been forwarded to the agents for their comment. All in all a very nice spacious villa which is almost perfect but just falls short which is a real shame.

The subject of the photos, we are waiting for a professional photographer to take pictures with the latest update of the villa, but the photos that are now showing well what the villa itself is. The chlorine theme of the pool, we sent our maintenance man to the villa to check the chlorine and ph indexes, and they were in more or less normal parameters. The location, we always recommend renting a car, anyway, many families love the location of the villa, because of the situation in which it is located, because of the views, the tranquility, and because by car you arrive in Less than 5 minutes to the most interesting places of Playa Blanca. We really appreciate your comment, because this impels us to continue improving the experience of our guests. Really relaxing few days in quiet location

Really enjoyed our stay here. Will say that the villa was cold at night but we were kindly given a fan heater to use but this was only any good for the bedroom. Would expect a hairdryer to be provided as standard but the managers organised for us to borrow one.

Modern, clean villa with good wifi, lovely pool and fantastic views

The villa is clean and modern, with stunning views of the mountains from the front. The wifi is a great bonus. It wasn’t working for us the first day but the staff at Villalia were very helpful and sent the maintenance man to sort it out, after that it was fine for the rest of our stay. The pool is lovely, and actually felt heated, unlike a previous villa we have stayed in. Beds were comfy and showers good and hot. The villa is a bit up out of the way, great if you want to climb the volcano. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and sandy beach at Playa Flamingo, but only 5-10 minutes’ walk to the supermarket at Hotel Paradise Island and the taxi rank outside Jardins del Sol. We love this bit of Playa Blanca, quieter than the main town and still has everything you need. We paid about 4 euros in a taxi each way to the Marina, which is lovely with a nice little market on Wednesday and Saturday. We didn’t bother to hire a car, tours can be booked from outside the supermarket at Playa Flamingo and you can be picked up at Hotel Paradise Island. The First Minute Excursion "Following the step of Cesar Manrique" was the highlight of our stay. We had a lovely relaxing week and we’re hoping to return in 2017!
