Nice little place in Mountain View. It was a second stay here for us. It’s safe and close to everything. It’s on the ground floor which is really convenient and has a big carport that’s easy to get in and out of. The neighborhood is quiet. The train is near but you can only hear it faintly in the apartment so it’s not a big deal. Great bedding and renovated bathroom and kitchen area.

My family and I enjoyed our stay and the communication was clear and prompt. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable to sleep in. The only suggestion I have is to make sure the dishes are truly clean before putting them in the cupboard and I would recommend a newer 2nd comforter be made available as the one that was there is a little tattered. Other than that, we loved the house and how quiet it was. There was a party going on on Saturday night but they stopped the music at a decent hour and it was quiet the rest of the night and during the day.

Great alternative to hotel!

Location is Great

We needed a place close to Stanford Hospital that was quiet and restful. This unit met all of our needs. The unit was equipped with a full kitchen and the beds were very confortable.

While visiting our daughter we enjoyed our stay, the unit was clean and modern, our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. Added bonus was you even had Netflix.

The host was very responsive, which was appreciated. I have stayed in many rental properties around the world and the concerns I had at this property were that it was bare bones with supplies and it could have used some TLC. There are basic supplies that typically are included in all of the airbnbs/vrbos I've stayed in. Simple things such as paper towels, Pam/Oil, spices, laundry detergent, etc. Usually it's left overs from previous guests but it helps to get guests started, especially in my case, where I was staying for 2 weeks. I had to go out and buy all of that so the next guests will be all set. The host did offer to buy paper towels but I had already gone shopping. The soap and shampoo in the bathroom that was there looked very used and old. I had to buy all new items. Overall, the property was clean, including the sheets. Many times, white sheets show signs of use and stains. That was not the case in this property, which was appreciated. However, the walls had multiple stains, some of which were red, there was a dirty wash cloth left hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and there were other washcloths on the shelf that what looked like wood shavings on them. I also found multiple spiders on a daily basis and thought the property could use a sweep down on the outside for spider webs. Finally, there is a lovely outdoor seating area, but when we arrived, it was covered in leaves and stains from the trees- simply put, I recommend paying attention to the details.

Came for a sports camp at Stanford... stayed 2 nights, 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small dogs. Inside feels modern and sleek, beds were comfortable and the linens were really nice. The main bedroom has drawers in the bed, which was perfect for our clothes (hate living out of a suit case). The kitchen was surprisingly roomy and nicely designed. The front yard was perfect for our two small dogs. The only issue is there is one small couch in the family room. With a teenager, would have liked at least one other comfy chair.

Chaos in a nutshell

I booked this property so it would be easy for my wife to take our our 7 yr old son to Stanford Children’s Hospital for heart surgery. We arrived 6/25 around 9:30pm and the entire front door was covered in cobwebs. Inside was disgusting. Smelled very bad. People before us left there food in the fridge. There was more cobwebs, dust, dirt and grime for days everywhere. The white board frames were not white, but black. Finger prints from other guest and boogers stuck on the walls. My wife found mold in the kitchen sink, tub, and by the laundry units. The night we arrived my wife and I found blood stains on the comforter in the master bedroom the night we arrived. To add on the extra stress, my wife went out of her way and bought cleaning supplies to clean up a house that is not ours. The pictures advertised for this place is very deceiving as they make everything look clean and nice when in reality it’s not. There was 5 inches of dust on the ceiling fans my wife ended up wiping up as it gave our son who was getting heart surgery on 6/27, a severe asthma attack, which also caused him to get severely sick with bronchitis as they found dust particles in his nasal canal. My 1 year old got sick from how dirty it was there as well. The patio has nothing but piles and piles of trash. This place is a crapshoot. To sum it up for you all who are looking into this place to stay—Don’t. You will be throwing your money down the crapper. Also this person has other properties. Beware!

Lovely Renovated House
