Located on a private, heavily wooded ridge in the Town of Lake Lure, which was chosen by Southern Living as the #1 lake town in the South, this comfortable home is easily accessible and less than 2 miles to the Lake Lure Marina and Beach and Chimney Rock State Park. After a day spent hiking in Chimney Rock State Park, or boating on the pristine waters of Lake Lure, come home to your own mountain lodge and enjoy a soothing soak in your private hot tub or gather around the outdoor fire pit to make memories with friends and family. (We provide the firewood!)

There is so much to enjoy in this wonderfully spacious home! On the main level is the large, open great room with a stone fireplace with gas logs, and an entertainment center with satellite Smart TV, and a DVD/CD player. The great room and open dining area have vaulted ceilings and large windows with expansive views of mountains and woods. Sliding glass doors out of the living area lead to a deck which runs the width of the house and is furnished for outdoor dining and socializing. Breakfast is wonderful on the deck or you can prepare steaks on the gas grill (propane provided). Everything is provided in the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a meal for a large group. On this level are also 2 bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen, and a full bath.

On the lower level is a huge game room with seating area, wide screen satellite TV, a DVD/CD player, and a pool table. Large windows let in lots of light and have beautiful woodland views. A multitude of games, puzzles and books also wait to entertain you. Outside the game room is a covered deck with a hot tub, surrounded by trees which ensure privacy.

There is a private 2-bedroom suite off the game room with a full bath. One bedroom has a king bed and one has 2 twin beds.

The master bedroom, which is tucked away on the top level, is very private and has a king bed and a spacious bath with walk in shower. There is also an open loft with a futon sofa overlooking the great room which has a fantastic view of the mountains.

You and your family and friends can enjoy the privacy and serenity of this wonderful Lake Lure vacation rental, or venture out for a day of hiking in Chimney Rock State Park, gem mining, zip lining or take a boat cruise on Lake Lure, all within a 5-minute drive.

This home is located in a mountainous area, and we have occasional power outages. Also, while we provide the best Wi-Fi that is available in our area, the internet can sometimes be slow if multiple devices are logged on at once. This is true for most homes located in the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area. We cannot be held responsible for possible electrical power outages, or if the internet is not working or is too slow, as these are circumstances beyond our control, and no refunds will be given.

While we rarely have heavy snows, if you are coming to the mountains in winter or early spring, you must be prepared for the possibility of some ice and/or snow.
