Absolutely amazing property! Beautiful house large enough to accommodate a large group. Hot tub is perfect and the game room with pool and air hockey tables was a blast! One of the best "girls trip" ever!
The house was clean, had all the essentials and then some. Perfectly located close to the Lake Lure Marina and another five minutes to Chimney Rock. Highly recommend!
Beautiful home, great location, and wonderful owners
The house is in a fantastic location, you can see chimney rock clearly from the back porch. Its barely 10 minutes from all the downtown shops and restaurants. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back someday.
The cabin was wonderful! The whole process was smooth. The host manager was wonderful to work with. The cabin was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the amenities. It was nice being close to everything.
We had a small family gathering--parents, 3 sons and their families. A lovely location. Driveway is a bit steep but house is great. Many of the area activities are closed at the moment because of the destruction of Hurricane Helene but still plenty to do.
The home was in a decent location, centrally located to many attractions. For the price we paid/week, I thought the home would be much nicer inside. The fenced-in yard is great if you have dogs.
House is really cute, dining area is great for dinner and game night with family! Beds comfy. Loved the hot tub (my daughter suggests some string lights in that area). Nice back deck as well! Property manager was very responsive and helpful!
We booked this for a family and friends trip. We have seen lots of different parts of NC, but never Lake Lure. It did not disappoint and neither did this booking. Super quiet area and the hot tub in the evenings were quiet spectacular! Cabin was clean, well stocked and we felt safe as a cabin with all women and children.

Thanks so much for staying with us and we are so happy you enjoyed our home.
Come back next year.

Property was clean inside the cabin. Some of the furniture was dated and worn. Outside could have been landscaped better and neater before we arrived. When it was finally mowed on Thursday, when we checked in on Tuesday, they uncovered a yellow jacket nest in the ground. We didn't feelcomfortable being outside with the kids because one of them was allergic to wasps, etc. Overall, it was a good stay, glad my son boarded his dog at the last minute, too, with the yellow jacket nest in the ground.
Great property with lots of amenities and a fenced yard if you have a furry friend or two. Loved the downstair game room and bar and enjoyed a few dips in the Hot tub despite 10 degree F weather over Christmas. That weather deterred more outside activity, although father-in-law and brother-in-law still scaled Chimney Rock, of which there is a spectacular view. It's a steep approach to the house however so in actual snow or ice it would be a challenge, good 4-wheel drive then essential. The yard thus also drops away very steeply too. Great set up for our party of six though and good time had by all once we'd just resolved a few difficulties with the zonal heating system for the middle floor that contains two of the bedrooms. Would be fabulous in Spring or Fall, dubious in very warm weather or, as I already said, in snowy conditions. Would certainly consider going again.
The house is well equipped, easy to find, close to lake, restaurants, activities but tree-line keeps private. Large deck with view of Chimney Rock and gorge. Lower level with pool table, air hockey table, tv, bedroom full bath, laundry. Fenced yard is great for dogs, but may be steep for young children. Highly recommend, would rent again.

Lake Lure rental
The fire pit after getting new gas tank still didn’t work. Based on online listing we weren’t prepared for all the steps they were extreme. Also listed master on main which wasn’t accurate. My husband has some health issues so he was unable to enjoy master suite to many stairs Other wise we enjoyed
We do Lake Lure every 4th. This home is very convenient to everything. So much so that we could see the July 4th fireworks held at the beach at the home. Although it was actually the 3rd. That was fantastic. Also saw a black bear walking down the side yard. We enjoyed ourselves.
