About this property

Holly Creek is a charming old farmhouse with all the modern amenities you need. It can accommodate up to ten guests in four bedrooms. The spacious downstairs suite has a king and two twins, upstairs there is a king and two queen bedrooms. Each bedroom has their own updated ensuite bathroom. Enjoy the south-facing deck with plenty of seating to wind down your day.
There are more than 40 wine tasting rooms just north of Holly Creek, most of which are a comfortable walking distance. But the valley has so much more than wine to offer! Chateau Ste. Michelle summer concerts, the Sammamish River Trail is great for biking and running, the Herbfarm is an iconic farm to table dinner experience, numerous golfing opportunities, many wedding and event venues, less than 20 minutes to Lake Washington waterfront and 20 miles outside of Seattle.

Woodinville Birthday Weekend

This property is fantastic for groups! We rented the entire house and were very happy. There’s great community space to enjoy each others company. What’s great is that every bedroom has its own bathroom! We decided not to walk into town, and drove instead, but it is definitely possible. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked! Our host, Rebekah, was very communicative and easy to reach prior to our stay! I would stay here again!

Beautiful home and excellent location!

We stayed at the cottage for a wedding at Chateau Lill. The location was just a stone’s throw from the wedding venue and a short drive (or careful walk) to great restaurants and wine tasting. The overall layout of the cottage was perfect for our group. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was plenty of space to socialize or find a cozy corner to read a book. Everything was well appointed and clean. Rebecca was very communicative and an awesome host.

Wedding refuge

Our family loved this refuge away from the city, yet close to amenities. It was a perfect place to connect and relax before and after wedding events in Kirkland. The beds were comfy and we loved that we all had our own bathrooms. It took us a day or so to easily see our turn into the driveway but once we found it we were set.

My experience ranges from large resorts and small fishing lodges, to ski resorts and guiding for a worldwide cycle touring company. After traveling and working in the tourism and hospitality industry for the last ten years, Holly Creek is what ultimately brought me home. One of my favorite aspects of guiding is getting to know all types of people from all over the world. Now it's my turn to introduce visitors to my wonderful little corner of town. I certainly look forward to meeting you!

Why they chose this property

I've spent a great amount of time digging into the history of Holly Creek. I've found that the original bones of the house were constructed in the 1930s and was operated as a mink farm throughout the mid-century. The house seemed stuck in its 1968 additions so, during 2018, I was fortunate enough to enlist the help of family and friends to bring the house back to it's roots as a farmhouse. My goal was to restore as much of its original charm as possible and give it a name suitable for the property -- Holly Creek.

What makes this property unique

I also operate the property as a traditional bed and breakfast. I cook and clean for guests on a nightly basis. Using VRBO allows me to take a break every so often and share the house with groups visiting the area who want the space to themselves. I hope you enjoy your time and take advantage of the Sammamish River Valley!
