Notes
- A Wonderful Deck: we have a large, cedar deck -- with comfortable patio furniture -- for relaxing and dining.... a delightful space for hanging out after a day on the beach. On a warm sunny morning, this is a perfect place for morning coffee or tea. This is outdoor living at its best when you're not at the beach!! With a large gas grill, you'll be grilling many meals outdoors. Comfy chaise lounges and great sunny exposure make it hard to leave the deck on many days. A Spacious Kitchen: Sunny spacious kitchen gives you plenty of elbow room in which to cook. As part of the large, open, main floor, the cook can chat with the kids playing cards on the dining table or your honey relaxing in the living room. Bed Linens and Bath Towels: Unless you are flying in, we ask that you bring your own bed linens and towels. But.... let us know if this is a hardship, and we will be happy to provide very nice linens for your convenience. We mail you a helpful "care package" before you come!

We are a Vermont family that is delighted to share our very special island cottage with you. When we became “empty nesters,” we looked for a cottage on the coast of Maine. In 2005 we chose Islesboro Island because it was a magical place that time forgot……in the ocean! We love the cottage’s location on a breezy knoll, the privacy, the light that pours in from its many windows, and its spaciousness. We love everything about it and have had many special moments here with our own family. We have proudly shared Crow’s Nest Cottage since 2006 with over one hundred families. There is something very special about our Crow’s Nest Cottage and the island that slows down time and contributes to a unique vacation. Families in our Guest Book talk about their wonderful memories of perfect vacations at Crow’s Nest Cottage.

Why Giovanna and David Peebles chose Islesboro
Islesboro Island is magical, a place that time forgot in the ocean. In 2005 we fell in love with this cottage since we knew we could fix it up into a perfect island get-away. We spent over a year renovating it. Our major renovations included new windows and building the large laundry room/mud room and the 400 square foot deck.
What makes this Cottage unique
Many of our guests tell us that Crow’s Nest Cottage and Islesboro Island have given them one of their most relaxing, memorable, family vacations ever. We hope you’ll be one of those families. We look forward to welcoming you and helping your family plan a perfect and relaxing getaway.
