This was a really comfortable cottage, with lots of space and everything we needed for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.The location was great, with lots of places of interest only a short drive away.

Nice, but know before you go

We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning bread and shopping. As implied in a couple of photos, the outdoor area is almost entirely covered in paving stones. Oddly, there was no outdoor lighting. We asked and received some tea candle lamps, which were lovely but didn't produce enough light for reading, playing cards, etc. Having to duck under the vines to get into the house became tedious. The house instructions are in French. In a few instances (e.g., for the stovetop) more extensive and multilingual guides would be welcome. The "queen" beds are just 140cm wide -- narrower than many couples may be used to. (Perhaps this is a French nomenclature issue.) After two nights, I moved to a single bed on the second floor. The stairway is quite steep and the steps narrow (by German standards anyway); perhaps a challenge for the elderly and young.

Super!Ein schon etwas älteres Haus, aber super renoviert!Es ist alles vorhanden was gebraucht wird.Ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in doe Vogesen, oder in den Schwarzwald.Wir haben es genossen, und überlegen, im nächsten Jahr nochmal dort hinzufahren.

Wir waren rundherum zufrieden. Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und es war mit der schlüsselübergabe alles total unkompliziert. Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden und würden immer wieder kommen.

Das Haus war SEHR sauber, so eine Kücheneinrichtung haben wir selten in einem Ferienhaus vorgefunden und der Außenbereich war auch sehr schön! Wir würden sehr gerne nochmal im Sommer kommen und verschiedene Fahrradtouren ausprobieren, das ist sicher auch sehr schön.

Communicatie met eigenaar via berichten en mail verliep prima.Huis was op zich wat gedateerd, maar ruim en een goed voorziene keuken.Binnenplaats geweldig. Privé en ruim met altijd een schaduwplekje te vinden.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Ein großes Ferienhaus mit einer super ausgestatteten Küche. Alles im 80ziger Jahre Retrostil aber super gepflegt und sauber. Die Betten nicht ganz so optimal aber für 3 Übernachtungen vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und brachten uns sogar frische Eier von den eigenen Hühner. Im der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es eine kleine Bäckerei mit leckeren Brötchen und Croissants. Fußläufig auch zu erreichen ist das O'Sparrows wo man abens noch ein Bierchen trinken kann und auch ne runde Darten kann. Dort wurden wir auch nett empfangen...alles im allem ein gelungenes langes Wochenende....

Lage des Freienhaus war für uns Top. Wir konnten den Schwarzwald sowie die Vogesen kennen lernen.

Für uns 7 war das Haus ausreichend groß. Das Bugett vom Bäcker sehr lecker und fussläufig gut zu erreichen. An die großen, nicht teilbaren Bettdecken mussten wir uns erst gewöhnen. Luc hat uns am ersten Tag seine Hühner gezeigt, habe einen Enkel der sHühner sehr mag. Auch hat er uns mit frischen Eier von glücklichen Hühnern versorgt. Nochmals vielen Dank

Gemütliches Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus bietet viel Platz auch für Familien bis zu 8 Personen. Gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten, die Treppen sind steil, aber das ist oft so, muß nur berücksichtigt werden. Im Ort gibt es eine kleine Bäckerei/Café in dem man auch frühstücken kann. Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

Kurzurlaub in angenehmer Atmosphäre

Das Ferienhaus war viel größer, als wir es uns laut Beschreibung vorgestellt haben. Es ist viel Holz verbaut und so wirkt die Einrichtung schon etwas düster. Wer es gerne etwas moderner und heller haben möchte, für den wäre es eventuell nicht die richtige Unterkunft. Wir haben uns allerdinds wohl gefühlt, denn die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Vermieter sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge sowohl ins Elsass/Vogesen als auch in den Schwarzwald. Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall nochmals buchen.

Sehr empfehlenswert, auch für die größere Familie

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Geschlossener Hof mit genügend Platz für mehrere Autos, Ausstattung der Küche: alles da! Genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten für die gesamte Großfamilie mit Eltern, Großeltern, Kinder und deren Partner. Im Erdgeschoss ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad und extra Toilette. Im Wohnzimmer ein Futonbett, oben weitere Schlafmöglichkeiten. Für uns perfekt!! Danke!! Sehr freundliche Vermieter!! Wir kommen gerne nochmal

Ruhe

Die Betten waren generell "gewöhnungsbedürtug". Alt und knarrend, wie die Dielen im oberen Stockwerk. Hätte ich das gewußt, hätte ich diese Unterkunft nicht gebucht. Man darf eben an das Schlafen keine Ansprüche stellen, dann ist der Aufenthalt ok.
