Peaceful Ojai Arbolada Cottage
Very Private stand alone cottage, in Ojai's beautiful Arbolada. The guest house sits away from the main house down its own drive at the back of the Oak tree filled 1.1 acre property. (See satellite image)

Nicely laid out 2 bedroom (1 King, 1 Queen) , 1 bathroom 900sqft cottage that has a private drive & an oversized porch, is surrounded by 16+ fruit trees (orange, lemon, lime, pear), a vegetable gardens (one for guests) & backs to a large 10 acre meadow w beautiful days & various spaces outside to sit and enjoy the day or star filled nights.
Set up for months stay. Fully equipped, Nespresso machine, washer dryer, lots of storage, AC, Wi-Fi etc. Great for work from anywhere (most past guests do so including many in technology) with good wifi, large monitor and cords, various workspaces/ desks and a portable desk to set up anywhere and a laptop riser.
Enjoy mountain & field views in this private and peaceful location. You'll be a short beautiful walk to area hikes, downtown Ojai and Meiners Oaks.
This house is newly furnished and accessorized with comfort and peace in mind knowing that guests will be staying for 30+ days.
Arbolada Area. Quite peaceful area. Oak trees. Small orchard. Mountain sunsets. Dark sky stars. Very well kept cottage built in 2004 with all new (Oct 2019) furniture, beds etc.
The Arbolada is known for its beautiful oak tree filled properties and great Ojai location. Just a short walk to downtown Ojai for restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. The Ojai Valley Inn is also a short 20 min walk away for spa, golf and dinners. Los Padres National Forest trailheads are also a 20 min walk from the guest cottage.

In 2002 we moved to Mahattan Beach CA, from our home town of Seattle. We raised two sons there and love its amazing beach urban lifestyle and setting. In 2018 we bought a home in Ojai CA with a charming private 2 bedroom cottage that we offer as a monthly furnished rental.
We fell in love with Ojai on our first visit in 2003 and over the years we were drawn back seeking its magical peaceful setting of open space, trees, mountains, valley and its natural beauty. We see our home in Ojai as a long term home where we will be spending more and more time with family and friends.
Amy is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a private practice in LA South Bay, she's also a member of the LA Mayor's Crisis Response Team and a the Disaster Mental Health team with the Red Cross.
Bob is an active board member of a portfolio growth companies focused on technology, commerce and brands as well as he serves as Chairman of the not-for-profit Good360.

Why they chose this property
The guest house was built in 2004 and is private and sits amongst 16 fruit trees, a vegetable garden and up against a large meadow. Property is in Ojai's Arbolada area that is known for its beauty, oak trees, and yet easy proximity to Ojai's town and Meiners Oaks (few minute drive or 20 min beautiful walk to either). Total property is over an 1 acre and the 900 square foot guest cottage sits at the back of the property and access by its own driveway.
