With a private hot tub, a screened back porch overlooking a nearby lake, and sleeping arrangements for eight, this home is a perfect spot for an ideal family vacation. Practically in your backyard is gorgeous, spring-fed Goshorn Lake, a small, no-wake body of water that's clear and quiet, providing idyllic scenery. A small association beach and a fishing dock on the lake are within walking distance as well.

This cabin is a quick ride down the local bike trail to the shops, galleries, and eateries of downtown Saugatuck (two miles south) and Douglas (three miles south). Goshorn Lake is nearby with opportunities to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and fish. You'll also be three miles southeast of Saugatuck Dunes State Park, three miles northeast of Oval Beach on Lake Michigan, and four miles northeast of tranquil Douglas Beach.

Creaky floors, baby gate was no where to be found but overall a decent place to stay

We lived all the boardgames that were provided. We also loved the hot tub even though there was sand already in it we enjoyed walking down to the lake and the big backyard that we were able to play in.

Broken screen, bed bugs, no communication

This stay started off decent. The screen on the front door was broken. Not a big deal because the front door wasn't going to be open at all as it was November. We dropped off our stuff inside after a long drive, went to dinner, got back sort of late so we hit the hot tub which was full of sand, went to bed. In the early morning hours my daughters found bed bugs in their bed. And there were more in the bathtub. We took pictures and sent them to the company. Gathered our stuff to head out. We didn't even stay 24 hours. I have been attempting to get some resolution from vacasa and have not heard anything back yet. Its been weeks. And I've had to reach out to them. They let me know (after we were gone and at approximately 5pm) that Orkin would be there between noon and 2 that day. The last I heard from them they were still "investigating". I 10/10 do NOT recommend this place. It has been a total hassel with no resolve. And it was supposed to be a relaxing weekend with my mother, sisters, and daughters.

Cozy cabin

Great cabin in the woods, you can see the lake through the trees and walk to the little private beach and jump off the dock. My 3 kids loved it!

Perfect location!

Cool cabin right on the lake. So close to all the awesome things to do near Saugutuck and Douglas. Gotta go to Dairy Dayz! Fire pit and hot tub were nice touch.
