My partner and I had a lovely weekend getaway at this cozy cabin. The place was perfectly clean, easy to check into, and the property manager was very communicative. I would recommend this location to friends and family in the future.
Our family stay over the past couple of nights have been nothing short of unbelievable. The home itself is totally clean, much bigger on the inside than it would appear on the outside. It’s definitely definitely not a cabin per se… There’s plenty of space and activities to do once you were on the property, but the big selling point you were five minutes from downtown Saugatuck and only 15 minutes away from Holland… It is a perfect quiet location for all family fun.
Beautiful space with incredible surroundings. Close to downtown and cozy enough to stay inside all
This property was perfect for our girls weekend. The comfy couch and fireplace made the perfect spot for us girls to lounge, eat and drink. Highly recommend for your next group trip!
This cabin was well laid out and had all the amenities one would want on a vacation including sand toys for the kids a beach chairs. We enjoyed using the grill and the fire pit immensely!
The cabin was gorgeous and clean. Spacious with extra living room in the basement for late night games. Beautiful neighborhood. Kitchen well stocked with anything we needed to bake and make food. Close to the dunes and highway. We stayed during a winter storm and it was very drafty in certain rooms, almost unbearable on the main floor bedroom. The blankets were summer blankets, luckily we had brought our own with us to keep warm. Overall, nice cabin.
The property was amazing. From booking to check in, the experience was seamless. There was enough room for us to be together as well as have privacy when needed. The fire pit was perfect as well as the front porch rockers. The neighborhood lake was enjoyed by all. It is a short drive to town, restaurants and other activities. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Adam.
Wander Inn Cabin was A Perfect Place to reset, relax and ENJOY! Adam, the Property Manager, ensured we had everything we needed and even communicated about inclimate weather coming to the area. Everything you need is at this property. Will definitely return!
From Reservation to Check-in to stay and Check-out we had a wonderful experience. The Wander Inn is as listed and then some. We were able to relax and have fun! My 10 year old grandson caught his first fish in the lake which is walking distance while my daughter-in-laws sunned on the beach. Most importantly its close to Saugatuck and all its attractions as well as Opal Beach! We will go back there!
This prosperity is perfect for your next girls trip! Weber stayed here two years in a row and will continue to book this property. The cabin is darling, very clean and peaceful. There’s plenty of couch space for lounging and snacking with your gal pals. Plenty of bedrooms and privacy for when you need a quick nap or quiet time. The property is extremely close to downtown and many options for food and fun! The property management company is very responsive and eager to help when needed. I high recommend this gem in the woods for your next getaway!
The location of the cabin is great (a small community with plenty of privacy). The path for the Saugatuck Dune Rides runs right through the back yard so there are dune buggies back and forth multiple times a day. They weren't too loud so it didn't bother us, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Communication with the property manager(s?) could have been better. One of the toilets didn't work (basement) and when we informed them, they advised us to use the other 2 bathrooms and they would address it later as long as it wasn't actively leaking. With 4 adults and 2 small children, 3 bathrooms was a key reason for booking so that was disappointing. We also would have liked to have had a fire in the fire pit, but no wood was provided. We inquired and were told there was a bundle of firewood on the property. The only one we could find was right under the porch (see photo), consisting of two logs and some old newspapers. Again, disappointing, but not a deal breaker. We were aware that the temps in Michigan in June could be cold. The cabin comes equipped with a Nest thermostat, which is easy to use with IF you have access to the app that controls it. We did not. There were times that we wanted to turn on the heat (esp. at night) and there was no way to do so. When communicating with management, I was sent a tutorial video on how to use the Nest thermostat (that stated to utilize the app). This was super frustrating. Would book again, but customer service could be improved.
We had a wonderful vacation and the cabin was fantastic. We enjoyed all the special effort the owners included and being so well equipped.
Thanks for making our family vacation so easy and fun!

We stayed with friends here to celebrate my birthday. It’s a cute cottage/cabin. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Very clean and had everything we needed to cook. The management was amazing! Easy check in and out. Close to downtown. Great restaurants and shops. We would go back again!
We loved staying here during this time of year. The cabin felt so cozy and the leaves on the trees were so pretty! We drove into Holland and explored there charming downtown. There were lots and lots of adorable little shops!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were 9 of us and plenty of space. The newly renovated lower level is beautiful with a spacious bathroom and shower. Great location with privacy but also close to restaurants and downtown. I have stayed at many rentals over the years and this cabin has the best stocked kitchen!! Although we did not do a lot of cooking during the week there were plenty of pots, utensils etc. to use as needed. The property management company was excellent! There was a very minor issue when we arrived and the handyman was there first thing to fix. I have only one negative and that is the uncomfortable twin mattresses. It was a fun time with my family and I would return.
Property was fantastic- access to the neighborhood lake/dock was a real perk of staying here; easy to get into town or out for quick errands. Had trouble with losing hot water twice during our stay, but a plumber came out as quickly as possible and fixed. Highly recommend this property!
Second straight year we’ve rented the cabin. Quiet little area, convenient to everything, and a perfect size. Finished basement this time was a definite bonus. Some furniture could be replaced with more comfortable seating but we didn’t spend much time sitting around. Very likely we’ll try to find time again next summer.
Spent a family vacation with 6 adults and 2. Holstein under 5. It was comfortable and quaint, close to the Saugatuk Dune Rides and beaches.
Only thing not giving is a 5 is that it was warm inside with 6 adults moving around. And the parking is small for three cars to park.
