Well appointed, great for family

We were a group of 12: 7 adults, 5 kids. The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, cutlery, and specialty cookware. The hot tub and pool were checked twice during our stay and the staff were very kind. The laundry baskets in each were a nice touch. Plenty of extra pillows. Literally the only thing I would wish for is keyless entry. Everything else was just great for us.

No communication

The house was located 10 feet from the highway. It was never described in the listing. Sounded like a drag race every 2 min. I brought my father down from Ohio who is blind and he could not go outside due to the noise from the highway. ALL the pool lights were out so you could not swim at night. We notified management on a Monday and we were never updated on the status. Carpet and floor needed cleaning. There was Doritos all over the hard wood floors in the main area.

Thanks for the feedback Aaron. Sorry about the wear and tear on the house. It's been a brutally busy summer on the Outer Banks. Your comments have been passed along. In regards to the traffic/highway complaint...it plainly states at the top of the page next to the bedroom/bathroom count etc. that this house is "Between the Highways" and there are two pictures from the balcony showing the road and one aerial view with a big icon pointing to the house with the 4 lane road right next to it. Not sure what else you would like us to do to point out the location of the house?

Nice place

Really enjoyed the property and the amenities however the Hot tub was a bit finicky and the pool was never cleaned prior to or during our stay Even after repeated requests.

Nice house and location hot tub work required

House was nice. Proximity to beach was nice. The hot tub and pool need to be cleaned prior to new renters arrival every time. I called maintenance twice but they never came to clean. Overall I wasn’t happy with my experience with the rental company. Prior to arrival I could never get anyone on the phone. They didn’t send anyone to clean the pool. House access should be electronic at this point. Bedroom/bathroom location and combinations worked well for our group. Bring everything including Tupperware.
