Really convenient part of town to stay in. I agree with other reviews that a refresh of facilities might be worth considering but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
A great base to meet and stay for us all (five adults) very homely comfortable place to stay plenty of room, well equipped and an ideal location.Would definitely stay here again thank you Anne
Great place to stay in Ludlow. I can see why s9 many people are repeat visitors. So easy to walk into Ludlow, or to adventure out to visit places near-by. Thank you!
Lovely cottage, plenty of room and garden was a huge plus given that the weather was so good! Great location, could walk in to town and get to river or castle in minutes so no need for the car which was great! Thank you
We had a great stay the property is in perfect location within an easy walk to the town and a lovely pub (The Wheatsheaf) just up the road. Decor traditional but lovely and clean. Communication with the owner was great. Thank you

Good location for Broad Street and Ludlow market. Fridge/freezer in kitchen plus washer & dryer a bonus. Nice sunroom. Plenty of room for four people.
This was a very convenient place to stay. It had all you would want for a comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time in the garden, comfortable chairs and table to sit out and enjoy the garden. Perfect
Toad Hall was a very comfortable place to stay, we both felt at home, the kitchen was well equipped including 2 bottle opener!
All the room were well furnished and had everything we needed, the garden was beautiful and a lovely addition, to be able to sit in the conservatory and watch and hear the birds was a bonus.
Location was spot on 2 minutes into the town or 1 minute to the nearest pub.
Fantastic location in Ludlow, close to everything and property has all you need for a great stay. There was a little bit of confusion over basic welcome info, but this was all sorted very quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful stay 6 adults stayed comfortably short walk into town and although uphill it didnt prove a problem.
This is our second time here and csnt wait gir a third
We had a really pleasant time at Toad Hall and Ludlow. The location was great for an easy walk to the central part of Ludlow including the train station - but was also a quiet retreat for down time. We enjoyed every room, the outdoor patio, and had access to kitchen utensils and cookery. The bedrooms were spacious and quiet. Anne and Susan were wonderful to work with!
Great Cottage at the bottom of a short hill leading to Ludlow High St. Pubs, restaurants and shops and the castle are a 5-10 minute walk away. The house is spacious and has everything you need for a great stay; it was great having 3 bedrooms as our teenage boys did not have to share. Kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want to stay in, plus there is a washer and dryer if you are staying longer. Only negative is the Wifi, it is OK in the front room but does not extend much beyond that.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the Ludlow area.

With reference to the Internet, we are hoping to upgrade the system with boosters which will provide WiFi for all the house.

The house is very quirky and characterful. Bedrooms are comfortable, airy and light. The open plan effect of the kitchen/ living area enriched the space and natural light to the rear of the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with fridge, dish washer, glasses and crockery. The conservatory area and garden enhanced our stay and the sunny aspect was very pleasant to sit in. There is a downstairs loo but one bathroom upstairs between five ladies meant it was busy at times. That bathroom would benefit from an update but the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. Toad Hall is an easy stroll to the shops and pubs in the town in one direction and within minutes from Whitcliffe walks in the other. We really enjoyed staying in the house.
Delightful cottage with surprisingly spacious rooms and a wonderful garden. Location very very close to Ludlow centre and some good pubs. Parking was easy and well arranged prior to arrival. A definite gem and would like to stay again.
Great property, clean and tidy, everything you could possibly need was provided, brilliant location for getting into town, just a short walk... beds really comfortable, lovely garden area to sit out and relax in. Easy parking, always a space available just yards from the property. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and chilled out place to stay... Loved Toad Hall, Thank you...
This is perfectly located for an amazing time in Ludlow which is a town that has lots to offer. Food in the area is exceptional as are the walks (thank you for the booklet) stairs aren’t toddler friendly. The only down star is the fact there’s a kid’s room up 2 scary stairs
