"The Distillery" is a 50m2 gite for 2-4 people, ground floor courtyard and private garden. This cottage, located in a former distillery, is entirely new and has been designed by marrying modernity and Charente soul.
The cottage has one large main room and bedroom.
The great room includes the kitchen, dining area and the living room opens onto a terrace and a garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, gas hob, electric oven, coffee maker, Senseo, toaster, electric kettle.
The dining area is planned for 6 people (possibility of receiving friends)
The seating area features a sofa bed (BZ type), flat-screen TV and DVD player

The room is furnished with a double bed 140x190 cm and wardrobe
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet incorporates

The cottage is heated by electric radiators cast iron inertia (gentle heat). It is located in a fully enclosed space (garden and courtyard) and has a parking lot

Remarks:
- Cottage completely non smoking. Guests are asked to smoke outside
- Pets are not allowed
- Night and linen towels are provided on request
- Free availability of bicycles
- A baby bed and a high chair are available on request

The cottage is situated in the pretty village of Juillac-le-Coq in the heart of Grande Champagne Cognaçaise. It is located 20 km from Cognac, 15 km of Jarnac, 50 km from Angouleme, 50 km from Saintes and 70 km from Royan.

Tranquility amongst the vineyards

Very private, but very easy access to the village of Juillac-le-Coq and the surrounding area, including Cognac. The property itself is ideal for a couple. It is comfortable, very clean, perfectly decorated, and well-equipped. The bathroom is very roomy and the shower of a decent size. Oodles of hot water. The garden is large and wraps around the property, plenty of sunshine & shade. The hosts, Jacqueline & Jean-Paul are very friendly & welcoming. They have enough English to make themselves understood. All in all, a perfect getaway!

Un très beau logement idéalement situé au coeur du vignoble de Cognac.Très calme et situé dans un village tranquille (qui éteint son éclairage public la nuit : idéal pour admirer les étoiles), le logement offre tout le charme des maisons du coin et le confort moderne.La gentillesse des hôtes ne fait qu'ajouter au charme du logement.

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans la région. Le gîte est très agréable et les propriétaires charmants (présents à l'arrivée et au départ). L'emplacement est idéal entre vigne et verger, très calme avec de grands espaces. Un gîte tout refait à neuf où il ne manque absolument rien...On est comme chez soi. La literie est excellente. Nous aimerions y revenir. Merci à Jacqueline et Jean Michel pour leur accueil chaleureux.PS: Une étape au restaurant La Cagouillarde, à Segonzac est recommandée.

Tranquillité au coeur du vignoble charentais

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans le gite La Distillerie, chaleureusement accueillis par Jacqueline et Jean-Michel qui nous ont donné de belles recommandations d'adresses et de lieux où nous rendre. Cette confortable et jolie maison était idéale pour notre couple. Nous avons également profité du grand jardin ensoleillé et de la vue sur le vignoble de la Grande Champagne. Grâce à la localisation du gite dans le département de la Charente nous avons pu faire de jolies balades dans les vignobles et en bord de Charente, des visites et dégustations dans différentes exploitations viticoles et découvert de jolis villes et villages en Charente et Charente Maririme comme Cognac, Aubeterre sur Drône, Saint-Simon, Talmon-sur-Gironde,...

Så havde vi endnu en gang fornøjelsen, at feriere i Jacqueline og Jean Michels feriehus. Alt fungerede yderst tilfredsstillende. Så også denne gang fik vi en god oplevelse i det dejlige Cognac-område.

Hébergement idéal dans une région à découvrir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison. Excellent accueil, nous avons pu échanger avec les propriétaires qui nous ont partagé leurs bons plans de sorties et de visites. Nous profitions de la terrasse en fin de journée après nos différentes escapades. Nous aurions prolongé avec plaisir ce séjour.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le gîte, très confortable, joliment meublé et au calme. Il est situé à moins de 20 minutes de Cognac, 40 minutes d'Angoulême. Quant aux hôtes, ils sont tout à fait charmants et accueillants. Nous avons apprécié leur grande gentillesse, leur disponibilité et toute la documentation touristique mise à disposition. Nous ne pouvons que recommander aux voyageurs de séjourner au Maine des Rois. Le gîte offre de très belles prestations. Il est propre, bien entretenu, décoré avec goût et complètement équipé. Tout y est fait pour que l’on s’y sente chez soi. Nous avons également été charmés par son cadre : son vaste jardin au calme, sa vue sur les vignes et le village. Le logement est très bien situé, à quelques minutes seulement de toutes les commodités, il constitue un bon point d’ancrage pour explorer une très belle région qui offre de nombreuses possibilités. A l’image de leur gîte, Jacqueline et Jean-Michel se sont montrés très accueillants. Ils ont fait preuve d’une grande réactivité et communiquer avec eux a toujours été aisé. En bref, nous avons été conquis.

Fantastische gite in ydillisch dorpje in prachtige Charente

Zeer mooie, propere en functionele vakantiewoning. Ideaal voor 2 volwassen. Alles is aanwezig in het huisje (wasmachine, vaatwasser, haardroger, strijkijzer, ...) Zeer kalm gelegen in slapend hypercharmant dorpje. Grote privétuin.
