Summer '23

Owner was super friendly and made good provision for our arrival. Property is as described and suited to a couple travelling with a dog. Quiet lanes and local footpath between fields made for a very pleasant evening walk. St-Claud a short distance for the essential patisseries.

Wunderbar ruhig!

Unser Aufenthalt in der gite "phoenix" war wunderbar! Die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Berner Sennenhund hat das 10.000m² große komplett eingezäunte Grundstück mit dem kleinem Teich sehr genossen. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Petit gite bien conçu pour 2 personnes, tres propre, avec tout le confort. Malgré la forte chaleur à cette période le gîte reste frais et nous a permis de passer des nuits reposantes.

On a pu se reposer en pleine nature, sans voisin, très calme. Très beau jardin. Entouré de pleins de petits villages, nous avons découvert toute cette région verdoyante. Nous avons pu faire du canoë, visiter Angoulême et Limoges, ainsi que les marais poitevin et le Futuroscope de Poitiers. Très beaux souvenirs. Merci a Nadine qui nous a super bien accueilli et ma Marie France.

Haven of Tranquility in Charente.

The welcome at the property was faultless and they could not have done more for us. Everything on hand for a restful and very pleasant stay in Charente. Beautiful garden which we were able to enjoy with our dog who just loved the freedom to run around - fully enclosed so no worries about doggie getting out. Excellent and will return when we come back to this lovely Region.

2ème fois que je viens, j aime bcp ce gîte qui est très fonctionnel, très propre et en plus la propriétaire est extra. Petit endroit au calme, si on aime la campagne, c est là qu'il faut aller ! J'y reviendrais avec plaisir. Ps : J'espère que ma chienne n'a pas trop sali.. j ai essayé d'enlever ses poils au maximum..

Wonderful peace and tranquility!

Our hosts Nadia and Patrick are super nice and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Our dogs loved the huge garden with pond that they had the run of. The gite is cute, modern and clean .
