Summary: A four-bedroom, four-bathroom log cabin just minutes from the most popular attractions of Pigeon Forge, Dream weaver, offers all the comforts of home—and then some. After all, how many homes have a media room with a 110” screen, a hot tub with a view of treetops and the Smoky Mountains, and two indoor jetted tubs?
The Space: The four bedrooms, each of which has its own bathroom, are spread out among Relaxing Bear’s three floors. The loft level and the main floor are home to the two master suites. Each of these bedrooms has a king-size bed, a TV, and an electric fireplace you’ll love taking advantage of on chilly winter evenings. The en-suite bathrooms of these two bedrooms are just as pampering. In addition to a beautifully tiled shower and twin sinks with an abundance of storage and counter space, each of these bathrooms has its own jetted tub. There’s no better way to revitalize yourself after a day on the go than with a pampering soak; you’ll emerge ready for a night on the town.
The other two bedrooms are downstairs. Each of these has a private bathroom as well, along with a queen-size bed and the other providing a king-size bed, and a TV. What’s more, sofas in the main floor’s great room and the upstairs game room open into beds for two, so that Relaxing Bear can sleep as many as twelve people in all.
In addition to two bedrooms, the lower level features the home theater. The two sofas alone makes this a great space to relax and watch a movie or the big game, but once you add in the 110” screen and the surround sound, movie night takes on a new luxurious meaning. Relaxing Bear receives HBO and Cinemax, among other cable channels, so you’re sure to find something everyone will want to watch, but in case you don’t, you can always pop a favorite movie into the DVD player.
Up one flight is the main floor, home to the great room. The space is rustic refinement at its most comfortable, with a leather sofas and a stone-surround fireplace. A bevy of windows let in sunlight that adds to the luster of the wood-planked floors, walls, and towering ceiling. Whether you’re watching TV, reading, surfing the web via the cabin’s free WiFi, or playing with the kids, you’ll feel right at home here.
The great room encompasses the dining area, which is furnished in the same easy elegance as the rest of Relaxing Bear. The handsome dining table seats six, and there’s room for two more at the adjacent breakfast bar. On the other side of the breakfast bar is the open, well-equipped kitchen. Stainless-steel appliances, cookware, serving utensils, tableware: The kitchen has it all. What’s more, Relaxing Bear has a charcoal grill outside, should you have a hankering for barbecue, and the deck has a dining table as well.
After dinner, if you don’t want to head downstairs for a movie or you can shoot some pool. Or perhaps you’d like to join the others in the lower deck’s hot tub, which can accommodate up to five people. Or maybe you’d rather kick back on one of the deck rockers with a book and a drink, or settle into the porch swing with the kids or your main squeeze.
And there’s plenty more to do just a few miles from Relaxing Bear. In less than fifteen minutes, you can be at Dollywood, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, Gatlinburg Golf Course, the Titanic Museum, and the myriad dinner theaters, amusement parks, restaurants, and shops of the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Even the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is less than a half-hour’s drive.

We loved our stay! The cabin was well equipped with plenty of towels, paper goods, kitchen supplies. The hot tub was huge and clean. The owner provided all the info we needed for our stay ahead of time, and let us know they were available if we needed anything during our stay. We will definitely consider this cabin again!
We had a wonderful time! The cabin was very spacious and cozy. The hot tub was much needed after walking a lot in the cold. Our favorite thing was the theatre room for sure, played loads of games of pool and loads of video games on the screen. Also, the wifi is exceptional for a place tucked into so many trees, we had multiple consoles operating at once and never really experienced any lag!
Sheets on all beds were not clean. 4 steps leading into cabin are very steep and top step is not inline with porch. Sagging couches in LR and loft. Cardboard under headboard leg in primary suite. Floor entryway in primary bedroom and bathroom has a raised transition strip (tripping hazard). Only one night stand in primary. No shelf in master suite shower for soap, shampoos while bathing, had to place on floor. “Owner” sent cleaning crew out to clean and replace linens on our 1st night. However never offered returned of any fees for the major inconvenience to our family. Very disappointing…. This cabin and host are Not recommended for families or anyone over the age of 30.
Great host. Beautiful cabin, well stocked and neatly maintained. Extremely spacious with 4 bed rooms and king bunk bed in the second floor loft adds significant space for extra guests. Very close to the city while secluded in a nice way. Ample parking and very responsive host! Would definitely stay again and recommend this cabin to others. Thanks for hosting us.
We visited PigeonForge for our family vacation and chose this cabin and SO glad we did. Everything was so clean!! We enjoyed the location...so peaceful! Check-in was very smooth. Definitely recommend staying here!
It was a nice property. We had everything we needed. The host was very good with email communication. The property is really close to the main streets of Pigeon Forge, which made it easy to get to activities and food. We had a great family vacation!
Beautiful and extremely clean! We had a wonderful time! The bunk beds not having their own room caused stress because we were worried our two year old would fall down the stairs in the middle of the night. I think this should be disclosed on the advertisement or a baby gate which will fit the stairs should be provided.
Our family met in Pigeon Forge for the holiday and the Host even had a Christmas tree put up in the house. The accommodations were comfortable for the 6 of us and we definitely enjoyed the hot tub.
We had a great stay! So many things to do in the area, needed extra days just to enjoy the cabin! Plenty of room to spread out and yet get everyone together.
