Villa Deliziosa is a characteristic and welcoming two-story age-old farm house surrounded by the greenery. It sleeps 19 people. From Villa Deliziosa you will have a fascinating view of the valley and of Albano Mount. Villa Deliziosa is 500 square meters (5380 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 3 km (1.8 miles) from Monsummano Terme, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). You will reach Villa Deliziosa from the parking area going up a walkway that cuts through the garden and includes approximately three stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Deliziosa you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate. Please note that access to Villa Deliziosa is along a 800-meters (half-a-mile) unpaved road.

Villa Deliziosa is located in magnificent spot, in the middle of seven hectares of wood and land cultivated with olive trees, on the most western slopes of Monte Albano. The villa dates back to the second half of the eighteenth century. Originally the complex was made up by two old farmer houses that have been later combined in one unit, still being rather independent one from the other.


The owners have accurately restored the villa with careful attention to the details by using only recycled building materials found in the region. The interiors have also been tastefully furnished with antique furniture and doors, old prints, Persian carpets.


The owners live in a villa nearby which is separated from Villa Deliziosa and has a different entrance. They  will be glad to help in case you need assistance and, at the same time, they will guarantee your privacy during your stay.


Villa Deliziosa is located in a convenient position, in the Valdinievole area, still unaffected by the mass tourism. You will enjoy a relaxing holiday, away from the bustle of the city centres, immersed in the uncontaminated nature which is typical of Tuscany but, at the same time, you will be very close to all the main attractions of this beautiful region.


A few minutes drive from the villa you will be able to see important artistic and scenic points of the area: the old Cave di Monsummano, the Grotta Giusti, the mountains of the Pistoia area where you will find several ski resorts, the Svizzera Pesciatina, the numerous romanic churches, the Fucecchio Marshes with important plant and animal species, the spas of Grotta Giusti at Monsummano Terme and Montecatini terme.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) deep. It has a whirlpool corner and has a counter-current swimming machine. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas and sun loungers. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a broad view of the valley. The pool is open from mid-April until mid-October.
Garden
The garden is 2000 square meters (21500 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. The garden is equipped with small sofas and armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs and a gazebo. Here you will also find a barbecue.

You will be able to enter the first living room from the first kitchen. The floor is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The furnishings are elegant, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include two sofas. There is a big fireplace. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the first dining room. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa, an armchair and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In this room you will find a piano. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television (local channels). The room has a window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Living Room 3
You will be able to enter the third living room from the second dining room. The floor is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include two sofas, an armchair and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is a big and age-old fireplace made of stone. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room has a window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Dining Room 1
You will be able to enter the first dining room from the first living room going down three steps. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable, and include some antique pieces. The dining table can accommodate 16 guests. There is a nice fireplace. From the dining room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room has two windows, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Dining Room 2
You will be able to enter the second dining room from the second kitchen. The furnishings are elegant, and include some antique pieces. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the dining room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Game Room
You will be able to enter the game room from the second living room. Here you will be able to have fun with a pool table. The room has two windows. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen 1
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the main entrance hall. It is professional-grade, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a toaster. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven. In the kitchen you will also find a big fireplace made of bricks, that can be used to barbecue. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen 2
You will be able to enter the second kitchen from the first living room through a corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!). The dining table can accommodate six guests. The kitchen is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Mezzanine Level
In the first dining room you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it from the climbing 12 steps. The furnishings of the mezzanine include a desk. Here you will find two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The ceiling is sloped and has characteristic exposed wood beams and terracotta tiles. The mezzanine has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills.
Bathroom 1
The first bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a hydromassage shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the first living room.
Bathroom 2
The second bathroom is characteristic, since it has been built inside what used to be a fire-burning oven, and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a hydromassage shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the second dining room.
