The condo is charming and comfortable. The owner has provided extra amenities to insure a pleasurable stay. In addition, there was a slight problem in the condo when we arrived, and the owner went above and beyond to make sure the problem was resolved and that we were happy with the stay. We will rent this condo again.

Blue Ridge Mountain Heaven.

Great location, property and management. Walk to beautiful downtown, Bass Lake, Cone Manor and the Outlet mall or paddle boat around the Lake. Outstanding restaurant and pub. This was an amazing two weeks. We’re already thinking about next year.

Comfortable and clean condo at Chetola. Had a little trouble getting the key out of the lockbox at check in but Larry was available and helpful! The AC went out and he was very quick to respond and worked well with us. Great weekend away!

Probably the cleanest and nicest property on VRBO yet for us. Had an AC issue from the beginning which the owner worked tirelessly to resolve. We will definitely come back next year.

Wonderful place

This is a lovely condo. The property owner was wonderful making check in and out easy and even sending someone to look for my husbands glasses, finding them and mailing them to us. Condo is well kept my only minor issue would be it is dark in condo and lighting is not bright enough in bedroom and living room but that is minor. Very well stocked in the kitchen with spices, cooking utensils and cookware. Was a great week and we will be back next fall.

Great Mountain Getaway

Dove # 2 that we rented, was clean and very quiet. It was one of the best equipped condos that we have ever stayed in and there was nothing we needed that we could not find. The mornings on the back deck provided a quiet place for a cup of coffee or tea and we ate a number of meals there listening to the sounds of nature. Condo could have benefited from better lighting in the living room. Perhaps 3-way light bulbs might have made a difference. Larry Henline was an exceptional Property Manager and always available to answer questions before our trip to Blowing Rock as well as during our stay. Once we were settled in, we didn't need his assistance but it was nice to know that it was available if we had. .

Memorial Day Weekend With Daughters

Had some hiccups with the door key box and Larry was absolutely wonderful responding immediately same thing with the wifi password which had been kicked out by storm. Weather was freezing but we had a wonderful time and will be back.

Karen and I live in Hickory, just 45 minutes away. We purchased it and completely renovated it sparing no expense. It's our little hideaway. You will see when you first walk in that it is truly our dream. Some of our most precious memories are from there.

Why they chose this property

Chetola has always my favorite place in the mountains. When Karen first saw it, she wouldn't have anything else. She chose everything that went into it (except the Frace' art and the North Pole villages). When we are make a decision to visit, we can be there in 45 minutes.

What makes this property unique

It's the quaintness and coziness of not only the condo, but Chetola itself and the Town of Blowing Rock that attracts us. We have our favorite places to go each night. But our favorite is to walk down to the Timberlake Bar, have a drink, have dinner, and either listen to the live music, or sit our by the fire pit. Or to have their daily breakfast brunch while watching the swans on the lake. You are going to love it. Additionally, our maintenance department is inrcredibly professional and efficient. They will show up in a moment's notice.
