About this property

This architecturally designed ADU is located on the Piedmont side of Montclair. Conveniently located in a woodland setting, it is close to public transportation and an easy walk to Montclair Village shops, banks, and restaurants. This unique unit includes heating and air conditioning and Miele washer and dryer. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a Bosch appliances --dishwasher, gas range, microwave, disposal, refrigerator. There is a dedicated WiFi access point in the ADU, with a Gigabit fiber Internet backbone. The Internet is high speed wired and wireless. There is no TV, but bring your own streaming device and connect to the Internet to watch your favorite TV shows and movies.

My second time here!

Lovely, as my previous stay in April of 2023 was. Nice and snug during the heavy rains, could count on Alexa to supply me with unlimited music! Peaceful and on occasion, Great Horned Owls serenaded me.

While this exceptionally designed rental is private, peaceful and serene, it is also located in the safe, convenient neighborhood of Montclair. It has a gourmet kitchen with new, full-sized Bosch appliances and Miele washer and dryer. No detail has been overlooked --you can relax on any of the three decks. It is a great place be and a great place to unwind.

What makes this property unique

The "Back Forty" is unique in every way. The rear 16' sliding glass doors open onto a deck that wraps around the building. There are Zero gravity chairs on the back deck perfect for an afternoon of reading or napping, There are separate patio areas in the front to enjoy your morning coffee and morning sunlight.
