This is our 3rd annual trip to this property and we've loved it each time we've been here. Clean and comfortable inside and a great setting outside. The addition of very strong wifi is a big plus. Can't recommend this spot enough if you're in the area.
My group of three had a great time enjoying this beautiful property for three nights. The house was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept. We also had a couple of questions for the owner while we were there, and he was readily available to take our calls to help answer them. Definitely plan to go back!
The house is well laid out with good placement of bathrooms. We watched the eclipse from the pier, walked up the road and bought eggs. The house was extremely clean. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed our visit.
We loved our time here! This property had everything.. fishing, hunting, plenty of acreage to explore. We love the lake right out front of the house and the firepit. Kitchen was nice and had plenty of room for all the cooking. Plenty of comfortable beds. We couldnt have asked for better than what you get here. Highly recommend!
2nd time our group has stayed here. Plenty of room, super clean, gorgoeus setting in the woods and great folks to deal with. We will absolutely be back next year without a doubt.
What an amazing site. Description doesn't do it justice. Clean, comfortable and extremely spacious. Sunset over the pond is gorgeous from the living room, deck, or fire pit. The only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Our group will absolutely be back again the next time we're in the area.
This property is the exact kind of country property that I look to stay at. I generally do not use bug spray and I regreted it the first day when I ventured to the back pond and got ate up by chiggers. Its worth recommending that you also take some house hold bug spray and spray around the base boards when you get there as when the sun goes down there will be a few insects attempt to make their way inside the house. Aside from the chiggers and the mistery insect there wasnt anything else out of the normal. I did not see snakes in the ponds like I would expect for such a place. The fishing was amazing and you can catch smalled bass and a few crappie the entire time on worms and minnows. I can tell that people generally keep the larger fish to eat and Its my recommendation to any one who makes this trip to respect the next visitor and try to not keep to many large fish. Keeper size fish take years to grow to that size and if you eat them all you end up with lots of smaller fish which only eat up all the feeder fish. Ponds need bigger fish which also feed on the smaller bass and crappie to keep growing. I caught one 4 pound bass in the back pond and relocated it to the smaller pond by the house so someone else can catch it in the future and hopefully release it. The trails are narrow and I do not advise driving your vehicle back there, but you can rent the side by side which I also used to drag a canoe to the back pond to fish from. This is a very large home and can easily sleep the number advertised and many more so do not be shy about space when you book it. I also spoke to the neighbor and she mentioned that every time someone stays here they drive past the entrance and turn around in her driveway. STOP at the entrance that says Lakeview Pines LLC and enter.
We had a great time staying here. It fit our family very well.
The grounds were well maintained and we were able to take our pets, which made our stay great.
Looking forward to making this an annual trip.
Very satisfied with choosing this location for our family getaway. We had 14 in our group age ranged 14 to 60 and everyone had an great time. The property was lot larger than I expected which is great never felt crowded or on top of each other. The canoes were so much fun and great trails for riding 4 wheelers.. I would absolutely recommend this location for large groups
