Hilton Head Retreat-Beach, Golf, Bike & Tennis

This is an absolutely delightful uplifting villa decorated with fun and the island in mind. Spacious, bright, and a short walk to the Shipyard Beach Club. A 1200sf one bedroom, 2 full baths, sleeps up to 4 people and has a new air conditioning system. The kitchen is full of light with a red tiled floor, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and skylights. The living room has wood floors, queen size sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress and a fireplace. The dining area looks out over the lagoon and oaks. The master suite offers a king-sized bed, flat screen tv and private bath. The 2nd bathroom is a full bath with a shower stall. We have a full size washer and dryer. Outside, a large private shaded wrap-around deck also provides views of the ponds, oaks and the golf course for a very tranquil and peaceful setting. After a day fun in the sun it's a very tranquil setting to end the evening.

Great Location and Very Private!

We loved this well equipped condo! Lots of light and extra large deck that backed up to the lagoon. Very clean and the property manager quickly responded to our messages. Short walk to the pool, beach access and next to the bike path.

Family Vacation

We stayed in the condos in Shipyard with other family members close by. Beautiful area. Nice and quiet deck to enjoy reading. Wished we would have rented bikes.

Clean and convenient apartment close to the beach.

Nice condo with a beautiful deck, very clean and at a short walk to the beach. The unit is situated in a nice gated neighborhood with lots of bike trails, which where fun to ride the bikes on. The host is nice and very responsive to your needs. We had a wonderful vacation in Hilton Head and we will come back again. Thank you.

Perfect for a couple with a pet

I came to HHI during the coronavirus pandemic and stayed at the Westin until they closed the pools. Then it made more sense to find a place with a kitchen. The one here is very well appointed. Add to that an amazing deck where I’ve listened to a symphony of wildlife every night and wonderful bike paths, with the beach five minutes away. I would definitely rent a bike for ease of access to the beach and to the gourmet grocer 15 minutes away. If you’re physically fit and have a bike, you don’t need a car to get to several dozen restaurants, stores and grocers. The property is well managed and the check in procedure was seamless. Lots of entertainment options with smart TV’s for my own Netflix and Spectrum cable with several movie channels. It’s nice having a large BR and master bath and closet along with a second full bath, which would be suitable for young children.

Beachwalk

This property was very clean and spacious for a 1 bedroom. Although not on the oocean, it was quiet, private, and very pretty with all the live oak, spanish moss and the various trees and follage. Now we were there in May, so units around us were empty and in a busier season you may see other visitors from the deck. Donna and Jon were excellent hosts and very responsive. We did have 2 minor issues wish we chose not to have fixed while we were there but we did report them, so you might want to inquire if fixed. The smaller bathroon sink faucet did not work well. The electric grill outside on deck did not work as it kept tripping the circuit breaker when plugged in. None of this affected our stay in this unit which we really enjoyed. Again, the Strebes were great and trustful hosts and the pictures and description of Beachwalk were accurate. Tom and Mary Ann May 2023

Our Happy Place

Hilton Head and this property never disappoints. We love the condo and the location is everything. So much to do in Hilton Head/Bluffton. We tried new things and still didn't get through it all. The condo needs some slight updating but overall it is fantastic. See you next year. Oh and Jon our host was wonderful and very accommodating. Thanks again.

Low country or swamp?

Not a fan of heat, humidity, bugs and alligators but the rental unit was good enough, although the Verbo ad did not say the unit was on an elevated 2nd floor. Tough climb for an 80 year old with 3 suitcases. Could not get either TV to work. 2 TVs, 4 remotes (all different) none seemed to work and no directions. Cmon!

Great location & Nat Geo encounters!

The unit was perfect for our stay! The proximity to the beach was incredible and gave us and the pup the opportunity to walk there multiple times a day! We met a barred owl our first night there… hooted right above our head and turned the flashlight onto this majestic and beautiful creature! Heard an alligator roar, saw dolphins, raccoons, deer and so many birds!!! If we didn’t move to the island, we would definitely stay there again!!!

Villa was as description and as pictured.

Villa worked out fine - great location. Outdoor furniture needs updating! Property manager, Sarah was not accommodating. The refrigerator was not working prior to our arrival and a new refrigerator delivery kept getting postponed! Her communication and customer service were poor! Asked her for owners info several times but would not provide!

Accommodations were nice. And location was peaceful. Unit needed some updates on appliances and deck furniture. Pool and beach are walkable and very nice. Need to drive to shop and dine.

Southern Comfort

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was very comfortable , very clean, and was furnished with everything we needed. We loved the location and never got tired of all the scenery and wildlife that the walking trails offered! So many things to do in the area and the close beach made this a great vacation. Check-in was easy and Sarah was very pleasant as our go-to person.
