This fully furnished riverfront cabin will sleep up to 10 people, with a master bedroom downstairs with a queen bed upstairs (only accessible from outside) and two queen beds. The loft has one full mattress on the floor(best for little ones). The living room has a sofa, a love seat, a large futon (that can sleep two), and a rock fireplace. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a table that will seat six. An RV hookup (electric & water only) is available on request for an additional charge of $50/per day. Need room for more family and friends? We have a total of six cabins on this 11-acre riverfront property.
We are thirty miles north of Uvalde and about 10 miles south of Camp Wood; this rustic cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing time on the beautiful Nueces River. Watching the wildlife in the mornings and evenings or star gazing at night, this peaceful cabin will not disappoint. The blue hole of crystal-clear water in front of the cabin is impressive, and it has shallow areas and a deep hole between 10 -12 feet deep. The river is excellent for swimming, fishing, snorkeling, or kayaking. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Just bring clothes and food.
You will also enjoy the fabulous Texas Hill Country with its spectacular scenery. Bird watching, biking, hiking, and hunting are popular in this area. The scenic and quiet roads through the hill country are ideal for long drives by car or motorcycle. Search the web for (the twisted sisters, Hill Country). In this area, AT&T cell service works well; I have been told Verizon doesn't, so you might want to check about service in the area before you come if you don't have AT&T.

About the host
Hosted by Tina Willis

Hello! We are the Willis Family, David, Tina, Vada, and Devere. We absolutly love Montell, Texas and the surrounding area. We spend alot of time on Nueces River, swimming and Kayaking.
Why they chose this property
We bought this property because of the beautiful blue hole of water it sits on. In spending much time along this river, this is one of the best and deepest holes of water we have ever come across.
What makes this property unique
This property is in a rural area in Uvalde County and its sits on the banks of the beautiful Nueces River. This is a quiet area, with a lot of wildlife and few vacationers, so it is the perfect get away from it all! The lovely view of the river with the hills in the background is a wonderful sight for morning sunrises with a hot cup of coffee.
