Location, Location, Location!!! This 4 bedroom , 2 1/2 bath home is nestled in the woods , but only 5 minutes to Mount Mansfield and 10 minutes to Stowe Village.
Relax in front of the large fireplace in a spacious family room, or play a game of ping pong down in the rec room. Too sore from skiing? Enjoy some time in the steam sauna. want a little outdoor relaxation? sit on our deck and enjoy the foliage The first floor is complemented by large eat in kitchen, a front foyer for all your gear (with a powder room right off the foyer), and rounding out the first floor is the master bedroom with its own bathroom. The lower level features three bedrooms, the rec room as well as the sauna, and a laundry room for your convenience. The front entrance features a covered porch with a driveway leading right up to for easy loading of all your ski gear. Wi-fi is complementary, as is satellite TV. Note: this is a stand alone home with an attached duplex unit. **Recently added upgraded internet speed, enhanced Wi-Fi capability and Apple TV (in addition to existing satellite TV).

We had an amazing stay in Stowe thanks to Karen and Mike. The house was perfect in every way for our party of five. Could have easily accommodated a couple more. The home was spacious and well appointed and was an easy drive to the slopes and all of the shops and nearby restaurants.

Great for a couple families

Terrific stay… had two families (4 adults and 4 kids) in town for a ski weekend. House was better than advertised, stayed cozy and warm during some sub-zero days, and was excellent proximity to both Stowe town and the resort. Wished we had more time to explore, would be happy to stay here again to do so. Thanks Karen!

We had a great stay at Karen and Mike’s place in Stowe. There was enough room for our 2 families (8 total).The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved sitting at the large dining room table.The beautiful fireplace in the living room was wonderful on the cold days. The kids loved the ping pong table downstairs.Thank you for a great stay!

2nd time as good as the first

Two years running, our group has had a great stay here. Karen is super-responsive, and the home is:-easy to get to with ample parking-spacious and cozy-so close to town and the hillIf I could "change" anything, there'd be a hot tub, but the Sauna amazing fireplace is a close second. Love it, will be back again!

Perfect for a family ski trip

This is a great property that's perfect for a family trip to Stowe. The whole experience was wonderful. Helpful hosts. GREAT location. The house has a great flow that isn't fully captured in the photos. The living room & fireplace is cozy and perfect for a group. It's a hidden gem.

Perfect place and location!

As others have said, the pictures in winter don't do it justice, especially for a summer stay. The location is ideal, lots of board games and a ping-pong table for family fun, HUGE backyard. Not walking distance to much but close drive to everything! Shout out to Sir Charles Antiques in Stowe, a PHENOMENAL find, almost a museum. Mostly too pricy for ordinary people but amazing for an afternoon browse! Mini golf was fun, as was the Gondola ($$) All in all, a great family trip.
